Question 1: Cables from FEE box to DRS4 crate – how long?

Question 2: What is a good place to put DRS4 crate? One crate on top of MPSD? Two separate crates at MPSD and FPSD?

Question3: What is a good place of read-out (DAQ) computers to read DRS4?

PSD status

Summary:

- MPSD + FPSD are equipped with new FEE boards

- first 5 DRS4 boards are on test now at FPSD

Outlook:

- open questions:

1) the rest DRS4 boards for PSD (status? when?)

2) place of DRS4 crates, number of DRS4 crates (1 or 2) → cable length

3) DAQ computers for MPSD+ FPSD (read-out mode? place?)

- plans for full MPSD + FPSD system tests (February 2020?)

- integration to NA61/SHINE DAQ
