ANAHEIM DUCKS LEARN TO PLAY

Our next Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Session begins on March 5th, 2014! Registration is taking place now on AnaheimDucks.com so do not miss out!

The Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Program offers first-time hockey players the chance to get on the rink in full hockey equipment for free. They will receive instruction on the basics of hockey as well as learn how to skate properly. Participants in the Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Program will be provided with an equipment bag, helmet, shin guards, hockey pants, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves and a jersey to use for the four week session in order to be fully protected on the rink.

The use of full hockey equipment not only gives participants the feel of what it’s like to be a hockey player, but also enables them to get use to skating, wearing all of the hockey gear.

Equipment sizes are recommended for players under ten years of age. The Anaheim Ducks Learn to Play Program is offered at the following Rinks locations: Lakewood ICE, Westminster ICE, Yorba Linda ICE, Corona Inline, Huntington Beach Inline and Irvine

Participants who complete the Learn to Play program and continue on in to a Youth hockey league here at The Rinks - Corona Inline will receive a FREE, complete set of Mission/Bauer equipment courtesy of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. Those that may not be ready to join

a league just yet following the Learn to Play program are eligable for discounted pricing for our Youth Hockey Initiation classes. Please inqiure at the front desk today!

All tryout times take place on Saturday, May 3rd. Tryouts will be held at The Rinks - Corona Inline. Cost is $30 for the tryout. Teams will participate in the AAU Junior Oympics in Las Vegas between July 14th and 17th, 2014.

Total fee is $250; includes home & away custom jerseys, custom pants, t-shirt, mandatory USARS membership fee and tournament fees. Guranteed 5 games.
