We are the experts for children with special needs. By providing the best support, education and therapy, we offer “hope” to everyone touched

by a disability.

Vision

UCP of Central Florida is a place where barriers are broken and miracles happen. We are creating a community where everyone touched by a

Who Founded UCP of Central Florida?

• A group of parents of children with Cerebral Palsy founded UCP of Central Florida in 1955.

• These families believed that their children had much potential – and were not willing to give up hope for their children.

Dress Code

Classroom Volunteers

Closed toe shoes Comfortable causal khaki pants, shorts, or jeans Shorts should be at thigh length No strapless or sleeveless shirts

Administrative Volunteers

Causal business attire No strapless or sleeveless shirts No short dresses or skirts

Privacy

Respect the students privacy– Maintain confidentiality– Do not use students names in discussions or

reports for classes

Never post any pictures of the children on social media

ADDitions

All volunteers must be ADDitions approved through OCPS

Including volunteers who have been fingerprinted

Sign in as volunteer on the computer at the front desk

Sign out in the computer Fill in UCF volunteer log

– Name– UCF Class– Activities that you are doing in the class (you can

fil in this part on the way out)

What is Required of Me as a Volunteer?

Complete orientation Attain ADDitions approval through OCPS Be dependable – Call the campus if you’re late

or absent Respect confidentiality and act professionally Abide by UCP policies and procedures Wear a volunteer badge and sign in/out daily Have fun!
