HIGHBALL reaches its readers, accord-ing to all announcement by Harold Otis,engineer car equipment.

The steel car order includes two par-lor 0bserva tion cars, one diner andseven passenger cars. '}'he cars werebuilt by the Cincinnati Car Company,who have built all of the recent ship-ments, and couf'orrn in design and speci-fica tions with the cars recei vcd lastyear. ,

The thirteen Hew buses are the firstto be purchased by our company fromthe Yellow Coach Manufacturing Com-pany and will be used for surburbanand city service. They are somewhaton the order of the Whi tas now inservice, but are easily rlistinguishableby their alurrunum rad ia tors.

On Tuesday morning, June 10, 1924,Paul Meade passed into his last longsleep, and how welcome was this restafter a week of pain and suffering fromthe ravages of pneumonia. Althoughhis passing brought S01'1'OWto all whoknow him, his death leaves a memoryof sweetest recollections.

The unusually wide-spread extent andsincerity of the sympathetic reactioncaused among his fellow employes onthe North Shore Line is a natural resultof a well spent life, conceived in highideals and dedicated to noble purposesof kindliness and considera tion forothers.
