ASU WOMEN’S CHORUS TODAY
Attend a special event this afternoon. The ASU Women’s Chorus, under the direction of William Gorton, will present “On Beauty in Springtime”, a choral concert at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.
TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
“Pilgrim’s Progress”- A three part contemporary study, continuing through April 24th at 10:00 a.m. in the Fireside Room. Praised as “powerful” and “life-changing”, this modern adaptation of John Bunyan’s classic is a film you won’t want to miss! With plenty of modern visual effects Pilgrim’s Progress: Journey to Heaven brings to life a story that has inspired generations since its first publication. Follow Christian in his allegorical journey from the City of Destruction to the gates of heaven and be encouraged in your own walk with the King of kings.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY
Tour First Century Jerusalem. Join the Bible Study on Wednesdays, for the continuing tour of the temple in Jerusalem. Sites include the Herodion Mansion and the path Jesus walked bearing his cross through the streets of the Holy City. Meeting at 6:45 p.m. in Zieske Hall, this on-going Ray Vander Laan study is facilitated by Jane Way.

FIELD TRIP…
Sign up in the Breezeway this Sunday! Tuesday, April 24th, we are headed to the Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank; The New Life Center and then on to Homeward Bound. We need to meet prompltly at 8:00 a.m. in the church parking lot and we will be on the road to Agua Fria by 8:15 a.m.
GRADUATION SUNDAY
Graduation Sunday will be Sunday, May 20th. There will be a breakfast in the breezeway at 7:30 a.m. that morning to honor the graduating seniors and their families. The graduates will be recognized in the 9:15 a.m. service. If you have a family member that is in the 12th grade and graduating, please contact the church office at (623) 935-3411 or [email protected] by Tuesday, May 1st.
ALL CHURCH FELLOWSHIP
Family night at the movies. Under the stars in Palm Court on Friday, April 20th, at 6:30 p.m., we will have our first movie night featuring “Faith Like Potatoes”. This true story film has won many awards. It is about a man who lives his life as a potato farmer and deals with life’s tribulations. He realizes how faith in God can help him manage his life and have abundance. It is for all families with children ages 7 and up. Frankfurters, soda and popcorn will be served. Sign up in the breezeway.
The Phoenix Theatre takes us back to the 60’s when the Mama’s and the Papa’s were a big sensation with the Broadway hit “Dream a Little Dream”. We will have 20 reserved center seats for May 3rd, at 7:30 p.m. and a picture taken on the set. The Director will also meet with us for a few minutes to discuss how this Broadway hit came about. The cost is $48.00 per ticket. Please sign up and pre-pay your tickets no later than April 22nd, in the breezeway.

The ladies of the Women’s Christian Service Fellowship will be greeting you at the information booth in the breezeway and in front of the church during the month of April. CHURCH THRIFT SHOP
The Church at Litchfield Park Thrift Shop will be open on Thursday, April 19th, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monies raised are used to fund various projects for the church and missions. Donations are always welcome and they accept almost everything, asking only that it be clean and in working order. Donations may be dropped off Wednesday, April 18th, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., or you may contact Monica Sproull (623) 935-2656 or Millie Ezell (623) 935-3953 to schedule another time. They request items not be left outside the doors nor left in the office.
BOOK EXCHANGE
A new W.C.S.F. Book Exchange Cart is coming soon! We are seeking donations of special books you have especially enjoyed reading and that you would like to share. Hardbound, trade and paperback books are welcome! Newer releases would be appreciated. Duplicates or excess books will be passed on to the Thrift Shop for sale. Donate now! Look for the donation crate on Sundays in the breezeway.
WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP
The WCSF Cooking Class is getting ready for those hot summer days when eating is almost a chore. Let’s change that! In Souers Hall, Monday April 23rd, at 6:30 p.m., our delightful pizza chef Kent McDonald is returning to share two summer soups, two salads, and best of all, a dessert – all light and easy, which is the perfect combination for summer. We’ll also get some great tips on how to make our favorite recipes healthier, something we are all wishing for. Delicious Dining – No Whining!
