Similarities

• The main similarity is the shot type as they are both medium close ups.

• Another similarity between the two is the indirect mode of address.

• Another similarity is they both have plain clothing on and the style is very indie so this is a similarity

• Another similarity is the lighting, the lighting is high key and no shadows on either so this is similar.

Differences• A difference is the position as one is on the left and the other is

central so this is a difference.• Another difference is that the costumes, even though they are both

similar in the style, the actual clothing they are wearing are different in colour’s as one is in white and the other is in a dark jacket.

• Another difference is that even tough they both have indirect mode of address they are looking different ways such as Alex Turner is looking sideward but my model is looking down so this is the difference.

• Also another difference is the skin complexion as my image has very natural more colorful skin where as the other image he is very pale and has been photo shopped highly.

How does the image represent teenagers

• The image that I have represents teenagers to me because the artist is indeed a teenager themselves and what is going to appeal more to a group of teenagers than one themselves. The artist also to me represents indie because of his look and clothing. The clothing is very dark which to me after looking at the research is indie because in all my research all indie artists worn dark clothes.
