Exhibitors’ opinions on the FRUCHTWELT BODENSEE and agrarwelt 2010:

“The atmosphere here is good, and we had some high-value

discussions. We actually only sell within the trade, so at

Fruchtwelt Bodensee we take the opportunity to come into

contact with traders and end consumers. Our new plant protec-

tion method has met with great interest. Things are going really

well for us.”

Jürgen Decker, from the Communication and

Marketing Service at Bayer CropScience

“For us, the show has been a success. We have had larger

throngs of people at our stand at this second edition of

‘agrarwelt’. Many of our members were among our visitors,

but also people from beyond Germany’s borders, such as

from the South Tyrol and Switzerland’s Franconia region,

with whom we exchanged ideas and experiences.”

Manfred Ehrle, Managing Director of

the regional farmers’ association based in Tettnang

“The show was very effective. Fruchtwelt Bodensee is very

clearly laid out and our customers enjoy visiting. We have

also been able to make lots of new contacts. It would be a

good thing if the show were a day longer so that the flood

of visitors was better distributed.”

Arnold Holstein, Managing Director of Holstein

“This is our first visit to Friedrichshafen. Our tractors can

be used for fruit growing and viticulture, and I think that

the show is a good opportunity to make our products better

known in Germany.”

Yuri Mottolese, Sales Director of Goldoni

“Visitors to ‘agrarwelt’ are very interested in our products

and we have had some high-quality discussions. We’re opti-

mistic about it generating a lot of post-show business.”

Tobias Stassen,

Sales at Celmens Maschinenfabrik

“We’re very satisfied with the way the show has gone. Our

information and large-scale machines have been well re-

ceived by our visitors. The exciting highlight was the fashion

show that we staged this year using people from the agri-

culture business as our models. I’m convinced that the two

trade shows are mutually beneficial, since, to a large extent,

visitors are interested in both trade show themes.”

Hubert Hennge, Director of the Tettnang

machinery and operations support circle

Two trade fairs, one date: The concurrent meeting of fruit producers

and farmers at the fairground in Friedrichshafen enters its third round.

From 24 to 26 February 2012, representatives of the fruit cultivation

and agriculture industries will meet up at the FRUCHTWELT BODENSEE

and the agrarwelt to exchange information on current topics. The

35th Lake Constance Fruit Cultivation Days (“Bodensee-Obstbautage”)

will once again supplement the activities on offer at the

FRUCHTWELT BODENSEE with a diverse range of lectures.

Every two years, both trade fairs provide an international communication and infor-

mation platform to their visitors. In 2010, some 16,000 fruit producers, agricultural

farmers, hobby brewers and distillers from across Europe came to Friedrichshafen to gain

information about products and services at the exhibitor stands. The number of visitors,

which remains stable at a high level, the high-quality offer and the high international contingent of

trade experts all confirm: This trade fair duo has developed into a fixed industry meeting point.

The international trade fair for fruit, berries, hops and distillation informs visitors about the latest developments and products

in the areas of fruit cultivation, distilling, harvesting machines, plant protection and tree nurseries and presents offers for home

and hobby brewers. With its overlapping thematic areas, the agrarwelt represents an effective supplement to the FRUCHTWELT

BODENSEE. This fair focuses on topics such as bio-energy, the regional cultural landscape and agricultural technology.

Fruitful fair duo melds topics from the fruit and agricultural world
