This model is one of our fastest boards.

It has a deep single to double concave giving the board lots of lift and acceleration and while it has a full outline helping it paddle well it also has medium entry and exit rocker for tighter turns and release in the tail.

It will help you progress your style to more aggressive vertical surfing and will hold when more pressure is applied to the rails in deep bottom turns for lots of drive of the bottom of the wave.

It is an easy board to surf but will suit a more advanced surfer or in intermediate looking to progress.

The Alone Supernova is a modern high-performance small wave speed machine!

The Supernova is a modern high-performance groveller designed to get you excited during those small mushy non- inviting conditions.

It has a wide outline which is complemented by a very low rocker for easy speed and glide through the weakest, slowest sections. There is a slight curve through the tail rocker to keep it performance-oriented and add to maneuverability.

The bottom has a vee nose to single, into a deep double concave running through with vee off the tail which makes the board get up on top of the water in slower, weak waves but still easily tips over onto the rail at high speeds.

The ChopStick :

Tech Details :

The Softlite Chop Stick is the top selling board from our range.It uses our Mini Mal Shape template, making it an ideal entry level board for beginner surfers, but is

refined enough that it will perform better than the average softboard for more advanced riders.

Compared to some of the other softboards on the market, there are 2 main features which we believe puts the Chopstick above the rest.

• Thickness - it’s a touch thinner than most of our competitors Mini Mal Shapes. Once the rider has

got a few weeks of surfing under their belt, this ensures the board doesn’t hold them back once they start to progress.

• Rail Profiles - Due to our Moulded Core process, we have been able to refine our rails profiles (particularly at the front end), so they are nice and rounded, and not low sharp and bulky. This helps

to stop nosediving & catching rails while riding, and combined with the thickness, makes the board a bit more responsive through turns.

Apart from that, the Chop Stick features all the usual Softlite Features including:• Moulded Core Construction - This ensures that every board comes out identical with no

imperfections. It also creates a harder shell of EPS foam on the outside making Softlite boards stiffer and more durable than competitors who use similar cores.

• Bones and Shanks Fin System - Easy to install and remove fins. Compatible with other two tab fin systems, Allowing you to change your fins to suit conditions or alter board performance. Also allows

for no screws on deck, which not only looks good, but you don’t need to worry about kicking your toes on screws!

The Softlite Pop Stick is the perfect all-rounder!

For the beginner to intermediate rider, these boards are ideal for progressing from a Mini Mal, or when the goal is to ride a fibreglass shortboard. Also great for beginner kids.

For the experienced rider, these boards have a little bit more rocker, and their template makes them more suitable for better wave conditions, and one step closer in performance to their usual shortboard

Using more of a modern shortboard template (higher wide point and a bit of extra width) just makes it a really user-friendly board to ride. The higher wide point makes it stable, and provides plenty of extra paddle power. We’ve also really been able to thin out the rail profiles making the board more responsive. The Round Tail is also a nice touch, allowing for smoother transitions between turns. It’s also wider, but thinned out providing the perfect mix of stability and responsiveness.

Surfing on the 5’9 Fish is almost like cheating! With a nice, high wide-point, plenty of width and a bit of extra thickness throughout the whole, this board has a lot of hidden volume.

It has the paddle power of a Mini Mal, and is super stable when up and riding, particularly with the addition of the Quad Fins.

It is an ideal board for any intermediate surfer (or smaller beginner) who needs the extra volume, but doesn’t want to ride anything to long. For the more advanced guys, it’ll help you to squeeze any bit of

push out of the weakest of waves, and would be perfect for anyone who has put on a few kg’s but is looking to get back into it.

The 5'9 Model comes with a quad fin set up to provide some extra drive.

The Test Tube is a Deluxe Version of our top-selling Softlite Chop Stick series. It uses the same mould as the Chop Stick (Mini Mal Template), so is essentially quite similar, just with a couple of extra features squeezed in.

For the beginner riders, these boards paddle fast and are extremely stable making them ideal for learning on. They are also a great addition to the quiver for the more experienced surfers and a great way to increase your wave count on the smaller days. If finless is your thing, the Test Tube is definitely the board of choice amongst our team riders, in particularly due to the Rolled Parabolic Rails feature. Compared to the Chop Stick model, the Test Tube has the following additional features:

ROLLED PARABOLIC PE RAILS : This was originally designed for our shorter, performance boards, but we've found it to make the bigger boards a bit more user friendly to ride also. Each board contains 4 crosslink rails. These rails are then hand shaped, allowing softer rails near the nose tapering down to a sharp, harder edged rail at the tail. This allows if to be forgiving and not catch rails up front, but gives it a bit more bite making it easier to turn off the tail. Similarly, to a stringer it also provides extra stiffness in the board, and generally helps to increase the durability of the board.

MESH INFUSED SLICKS : This is technology derived from bodyboarding, who lead the way in using EPS / HDPE Slick combinations. This provides a frame of strength, which not only improves stiffness but also recoil, so making it easier to pump from rail to rail with the right amount of tension.

The KOOLITE :

The Softlite Koolite is the ultimate beginner board.

It uses a rounded Mal shape (Similar to our Chop Stick Range), but in the Koolite models, we've given them some extra thickness to bump up the volume further. This makes the Koolite paddle

fast and extremely stable.

This makes it ideal for anyone learning to surf, particularly those with limited ocean experience. Due to the extra thickness, this will make the early stages of learning just that little bit easier, and

will help the rider stand up in even the smallest and weakest of waves.

We know how much Beginners struggle to carry a board sometimes (particularly with the added thickness) in this board, so this year we’ve updated the Koolite to include a Carry handle as well.

While it’s not built for it, we couldn’t knock back the opportunity to test it in some good waves too, just to make sure! (see image of Mullet Lord aka Daniel Brown on the right)

The Duke is a Deluxe Learners board, and we’ve ensured it tough as nails so is Surf school Friendly as well. Its probably best thought of as a bit of a Hybrid between our Test Tube and Koolite models.

The main features of the Duke include:

XTRA THICK CORE - Similar to the Koolite, the extra thick core bumps up the volume making it ideal for anyone learning to surf, particularly those with limited ocean experience. These boards are ideal for the young grom just getting started in wave riding.The Neo is perfect for getting dragged along the sand, and can even fit under the arm of the mini

The Fat Cat was designed purely to make small waves fun again. It is based on the theory of a "planing hull" and is

The Biscuit has always been one of our top sellers, but some of the team riders found that with the Quad Fin Set Up &

wide tail block the couldn't surf it top to bottom as hard as they wanted to when required.

So, we broke it down to a thruster to make it looser in the pocket, and added flyers to the tail so you can adjust from

longer drawn out carves or tighter hooks depending on how far back you set your rail.

If you have a look at this board, we've basically taken the front half off a Mini Mal, and the back half off more of a performance thruster which is a

good indicator of how this board surfs. We like to consider it a reverse Mullet - Party at the front, and business at the back.

With the big planing area and sustained thickness through the front end, this thing paddles like a dream, and is ideal for catching waves nice and

early. Rocker is pretty flat, so it also ploughs through chop and fat sections when surfing in junky conditions.

Off the back foot, its surprisingly responsive and turns on a dime. Coming out of turns, it is quite stable with the wider nose, which makes it

pretty user friendly to ride.
