    Under the high patronage of the head of government, the organizing committee is

    reorganizing for the second consecutive year Bizerte Smart City at the Convention

    Center of Bizerte.

    The 18th, 19th and 20th of April 2018 will bring together all the economic, institutional,

    scientific-research actors of the IOT sphere community and the most innovative up-

    to-date trends.

    From a socio- economic perspective, the approach “Bizerte Smart City” relies on the

    support of the projects that are planned by the state within the framework of the five

    year plan 2016-2021. This provides nearly 1600 million Dinars of investments in the re-

    gion of Bizerte on the establishment of dynamic regional through private investments

    so as to attract public investments. The aim is to benefit the region from this financial

    windfall, reduce the unemployment rates and strengthen the regional and the natio-

    nal economy.

    Tunisia has marked its first participation at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona,

    which took place on 14 – 15 et 16 of November 2017 thanks to the adhesion of the association

    Bizerte 2050 & Bizerte Smart City.

    This participation has been enriched with activities, partnership and has aroused the interest

    of the organization of Smart City Expo World Congress which honored the members of dele-

    gation in the presence of the Ambassador of Tunisia in Spain Mr. Wassef Chiha.
