How to use the Ultranet Wiki

Page 2: The Ultranet Wiki

To create a Wiki in your Ultranet space, go to Actions, Add Application and type in Wiki – drag

it across

Page 3: The Ultranet Wiki

Each Wiki needs to be scoped to display only the Wiki on that page, otherwise if

you add a new page in a space and insert a wiki, it will show the wiki from a previous page. Go to Configuration, click on Scope

and choose Current Page

To add text, images or embed code, go to Edit

Don’t forget to Save your work!

A wiki is perfect for collaborative group work, and through Details, it is possible to see recent changes; and see which student

has inserted text and images and edited text etc

Page 6: The Ultranet Wiki

One the Detail icon has been clicked, you get to this page, which tells you how many times it has been edited, who it was created

by and who it was last changed by.

Click on History to see the changes and who made them, click on a Revision number to see

what it looked like at that stage

In red, it tells you that you are viewing an archived version

It is also possible to compare versions of the wiki, below I am comparing version 1.2 and 1.3 and the

changes have been highlighted, as well as the member’s name who completed the changes

Fullstop was added - highlighted

This sentence, from Save and continue was also added

New pages can easily be added to the wiki – just click on Add Page and give it a title
