around the world. To help you enjoy car week and anticipate any delays, the Monterey County

Convention and Visitors Bureau has put together “Your Personal Guide to Navigating Car Week” - enjoy

the ride!

Tuesday, August 11th

Carmel by-the-Sea

Event: Concours on the Avenue

Location: Ocean Avenue, Carmel by-the-Sea

Time: Tuesday, 10am-5pm

Road Closures: Ocean Avenue (downtown) from 4am-6pm

Best Access: Use the Carpenter Street exit or Rio Road. Expect delays at all downtown intersections and

limited parking throughout the City.

Tip: Visitors can use the free shuttle service, provided by the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea, between the

Camel Mission and downtown on both Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am-6:00pm.

Free parking is available at the Vista Lobos lot at 3rd & Junipero and at the Sunset Center lot on 8th

between Mission & San Carlos, as well as on the street. Paid parking is available at Carmel Plaza, Mission

between Ocean & 7th.

Carmel Valley

Event: Classic Motorsports Magazine Monterey Kick Off Cruise-In

Monterey

Event: Monterey Auto Luxe and Mixer

Location: The Stanton Center, 5 Custom House Plaza, Monterey

Time: Tuesday, 1pm-Close (event), 6pm-7:30pm (mixer)

Road Closures: Lane and/or road closures will occur downtown. Del Monte Avenue heading into

Monterey from Seaside may experience delays near the Monterey Conference Center. The lane

reduction will occur from 7am-9pm. The driveway into Portola Hotel and Conference Center will be

closed August 13-15.

Best Access: From Highway One north, take Del Monte Avenue, exit and park in East/West garage.

Tip: Ride the free MST Trolley between downtown and Cannery Row, or walk the Recreation Trail

between downtown and Cannery Row.

Pacific Grove

to River Place. This portion of Valley Greens Drive will be closed to all through traffic and will be
