Mr Palmer spoke of his own autism diagnosis and the work that he undertakes with Autism SA. It was pleasing to see a number of Rotarians purchasing some products from Mr Palmer of which the proceeds would be going to that organisation. Tony Gardner’s raffle ticket was drawn but by selecting marble #15, he did not take away the jackpot which currently amounts to $105.00. The guest speaker for the Club’s next meeting to be held on Wednesday 7 June 2017 will be Mr Scott Williams from the North Eastern Community Hospital. Sunday 4 June 2017 saw the SA Bridge Association fund raiser day held for the Club. Adel A led an energetic team of Graeme P, Terry C, Katarina S, Djuro R, Judi B, Geoff B, Peter M, Emiko M, Dennis H, Di P, Sue P and Tony G. Thanks to all those Members who helped on the day in some way. The final amount raised will be advised at this week’s meeting. Later that evening a number of Rotarians from the Club attended the musical play “Matilda” at the Adelaide Festival Theatre. Thanks to Marian J for organising this fellowship event. A reminder to all Board Members that this month’s meeting will be held on Tuesday 6 June 2017. Also a reminder to all Members regarding the change over dinner to be held on Friday 30 June 2017.
