Thank you so much for supporting Cara at our Walk

With Me event on Sunday, August 30.

It was our second year co-hosting the walk and such

a great day to celebrate diversity and inclusivity in

our community. At Walk With Me it’s not about

walking or rolling far or fast, it’s about completing the

walk as a community.

Walk With Me wouldn’t be possible without your

support and we are truly grateful to you and the

Morialta Rotary Club “BBQ Crew”.

Thank you also for your ongoing support of Cara.

When you support our work, you’re supporting nearly

600 children and adults living with disabilities and their

families. Cara works with individuals and families to

live good lives in the community through our long-

term and short-term accommodation, Camps for Kids

program, our Kids Club day program and through

volunteering and advocacy.

Please head to our Facebook page to review & like

our photo gallery of the day HERE.

I have also attached a couple of photos of the BBQ

from the day.

Thank you again.

Natalie and Amy

Kind Regards

occasions" - Paul Harris

Campbelltown library and community chess teams festivities on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Most improved chess players awarded, congratulations Nuwin and Connor! Thank you Rotary Club of Morialta for cooking an amazing BBQ! Thank you Vincent Tarzia MP for the trophies and your support! What a great day! Graeme told us all 107 sausages were eagerly eaten by the group of students. We think there were just over 30 students and MP Vincent Tarzia supported the event with trophies. Vincent indicated he is keen to continue his support as we work towards the nationals with the Campbelltown students.

BioBlitz

18th and 19th September 2015

The BioBlitz will involve teams of scientists working with the public in a race against the clock to

discover and record the life at Morialta. They are a fun opportunity for members of the public to have a

hands-on experience and to contribute to scientific research through Citizen Science. This event will

target the local community and encourage visitors to the park to discover the fascinating wildlife on

their doorstep.

The BioBlitz will run over 2 days and will commence on a Friday morning with a series of hands-on

activities for local school classes. From Friday afternoon through to Saturday afternoon, scientists will

work with the public to survey the local biodiversity of the park. Surveys will include searching for and

recording mammals, frogs, reptiles, bats, insects, plants and birds.

Read more about Morialta Bioblitz on the Discovery Circle website.

Join us at these hands-on, fun events, designed around making discoveries, sharing talents, igniting

interests and recording our fascinating local wildlife. Come along to one session, or stay for a few!

Register online to book a session. Its free! The agenda is also available on the registration page. I

counted 53 individual activities to choose from!
