Bi- annual Report (April- September 2015) The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge and our students are ardent followers of this belief. Here is a glimpse of some of our efforts in the session 2015-16 Orientation Programme for the Parents of Pre Primary students An Orientation Programme was organized for the parents of our tiny tots to help them get acquainted with the class routine and other activities.

Work shop on Study skills and Career Counselling

A workshop called “Adhyayan” was organized for classes IX & X to develop study skills to manage examination stress.

A career Counselling workshop called “Bhavishya” was conducted for these Classes. A session with the parents and “individual counselling” of those who are interested along with their parents was also arranged. The interactive session with the teachers to support the students in their career development was very fruitful.

Celebration of Important Days

Important days like World Health Day, Ambedkar Jayanti, World Heritage Day, World Earth Day, World Malaria Day, Rabindra Nath Tagore Jayanti, Van Mahotsav, World Population Day, International Nelson Mandela Day, Kargil Vijay Diwas, National Nutrition Week, Girl Child Week, and World Heart Day were celebrated by conducting various activities like, speech, poem, skit, Quiz, Song etc. in the School Assembly.

Farewell to Retiring Principal

All of us at School bid farewell to Mrs. Anjali Srivastava on 30 June 2015 with a thankful heart. A brief cultural programme was presented on the occasion.

The month of July began with all vibrancy with our new Principal Mr. Manas Kumar Pal.

Investiture ceremony-

The young talents of our School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. The Investiture Ceremony thus marked the inaugural of the student council for the academic session 2015-16.

Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated with great honour and patriotism. On this patriotic occasion our young Adityans presented programme with full patriotic fervour and zeal. The participants kept the audience spell bound with their performance.

Dental Screening and Awareness Camp

A dental screening camp was organised in the School for the Primary Students.

A DPT Booster/ TT immunization programme was also conducted in the school for the Primary and the senior students respectively.

Teachers’ Day

Teachers’ Day was featured with students, organizing cultural activities. On this day, all staff members of the School were felicitated by the students and the school management, headed by the Unit Head, Mr C S Pandey.

PTM

Parent Teacher meetings are arranged monthly. We cherish parent’s co-operation and their constructive suggestions in our endeavour to the overall development of students.

Remedial Classes: We conduct remedial classes for low achievers of Classes IX-XII every day in Mathematics, science and English.

Two new digital Class rooms were also added for Senior Secondary Students in the month of July.

Co-Curricular activities

Inter House Competitions:

Students showcased their talents through various inter house competitions. The activities for Pre Primary and Primary students were Calligraphy, Recitation, Best out of waste, Hindi Handwriting, Colouring, Story writing, Extempore, MS Paint, Rakhi making, Rakhi Colouring, Fancy Dress, Craft, Group Song etc.

Students of Classes VI-XII enthusiastically participated in activities like Painting without Brush, Essay writing (Hindi & English) English Debate, Collage Making, Light Music, Card Making, Sanskrit Shloka etc.

Sports and Games

Various Sports Activities help the students remain fit. Students develop a keen sense of Sportsmanship, acquire the technical skills required to play various games and are better prepared to meet situations which do not always guarantee success. We continuously encourage our students to take their sports activities seriously and take part in various competitions like inter house Chess, Table Tennis, Basket Ball, Football etc.

School Clubs: Last working day of every month is specially planned for various activities of English Interactive Club, Hindi Club, Health and Wellness Club, Eco Club, Quiz Club, ICT Club, Music Club (Vocal), Music (Instrumental) Club and Dance Club.

Value Education: Education without proper value is incomplete. On last Saturday of every month, we conduct special activities like presentations, skits, etc. to inculcate good values amongst the students and to train them to help the humanity and the nation.

External Events

A team of six students took part in project Paridhi organized by SPACE Outreach Department, Delhi held at Jantar Mantar, Delhi.

All Students of Classes IV-IX took part in a Painting Competition on Energy Conservation organised by the Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India.

Many students participated in Digital Wellness online Challenge Cyber Quiz organised by the Ministry of IT & Communication, Government of India.

Six students took part in Quiz- CBSE Aavishkar series

All students of Classes III-XII took part in Poster/ Drawing Competition on the occasion of world Environment Day organised by KCW, Kotputli

Two teams of students are participating in a Quiz Competition organized by the RBI, Jaipur.

Organizing a Project on interaction of ABPS Students with a French school

A team of nine French students, along with two teachers, from Les Mandailles will stay in the school campus for two weeks in the month of October and will have interactive sessions with the senior students and will perform in a joint cultural programme at School.

In the coming months, we look forward towards greater challenges and responsibilities with a strong partnership between the School and the Parents so that we can achieve the highest possible success and continue our growth.
