This is a friendly guide to explain the body of nexogy® visual communications, as a

recognized and respected brand. This manual will provide you the basic foundations,

as well as the creative flexibility to create a high quality and visually communications.

This tool contributes to fortify nexogy’s brand in the market, convert it into a well-known

trademark.

This manual works for print and web and the guidelines showed in this manual should

be followed for both, in spite of some guidelines have to be modified to use for a web

usage.

The name nexogy® comes from “Next Technology” and was chosen from the vision and

creativity of a group of young people, eager to innovate and take risks by bringing new

technologies and doing things differently.

Our Team is “real people” devoted to providing solutions that will make people

and company’s communications experiences evolve to a new level, beyond their

expectations.

nexogy® is a trade registered mark, therefore it is important to maintain the integrity of its logo. Permission is granted to use the logo, subject to the guidelines mentioned in this manual.

If any corporation or person want to use nexogy’s logo, its usage must be approved for nexogy’s Marketing Department.

A. Artwork

The nexogy logo consists of the logotype and the mark. The mark represents the world where next generation is given and is made up of one blue “n” distorted and two yellow shapes filling the blank “n” spaces and, nexogy name on Futura typeface, joining blue and yellow colors also. Some variations may apply.

This logo has been designed to promote high visibility of the mark balanced with clear legibility of the name. The size and positioning of these elements should never be altered in any way.

B. The Symbol

The symbol may appear without the nexogy text, used as a graphic element. It may also be used as a watermark or stand alone, never join the symbol with any other text or logo. It may only reproduced in the logo palette colors listed in this manual.

Never use the symbol as a graphic element alone or any communication materials without the full logo used in the same context.

C. Logo Placement

Area of Isolation

nexogy® logo is a clean and strong mark and should be used with respect in all practices.

Size of the nexogy® Logo

Depending on usage, the size of the logo will change. The logo should be sized for clear legibility with the minimum amount of white space around it.

For ideal legibility, the minimum width of this logo is 2 inches.

Knock-out Logo

This version must be used in place of the original logo when background color or photographics backgrounds make the original logo illegible.

Black and White Logo

For Black and white publications, or when color is not an option, there is a one color version of the logo for use in black.

Is using the full black and white version, the background must provide adequate contrast.

Trademark Notice

nexogy’s logo must always appear with the common law mark (®). The trademark is aligned to the top right and its color should always be the color of the nexogy’s text.

Logo Do and Don’ts

The nexogy logo should always keep a consistent presentation in order to generate an adequate brand-awareness. These examples help to avoid misuses of the logo.

Never use the logo with any other text (other than the tagline).

The tagline should be positioned under the logo and aligned left to the “n” of nexogy® but it never must pass out the ® symbol.

The tagline should appear on all marketing materials. This includes website, advertising, exceptions to this requirement are informational material such as signage, product guide, etc.

The tagline typeface is Myriad Italic.

4. Stationary Set

The primary typeface choosen to communicate the nexogy’s logo voice is Myriad because this type offers many options that bring a wide range of possibilities for all graphic communications.

Letterheads

The most common letterhead layout shows the company logo at the top of the page, on the left side, with the usual details on the footer (address, phone, fax and website), which should be no less than “0.60 inches“. The smallest size of the logo used for letterheads should be no less than 2 inches.

Envelopes

Standard sized envelopes can be implemented in two versions: in the simpler, more functional version with left window and in the higher-quality version without window. Both should have nexogy logo in the top left side.

Envelopes should be designed according to the applicable standards in each market i.e. taking into consideration on which side the window is located or the address is written, and incorporating the company’s own corporate design principles. The smallest size of the logo used for envelopes should be no less than 2 inches.

Business Cards

The impression which the business card should convey to communicate the nexogy® character is landscape/horizontal layout.

The smallest size of the logo used for business cards should be no less than 2 inches and placed in the left side.

Promotional items are used to build and reinforce the nexogy® brand with customers,

employees and others. Common promotional items include things like padfolios, pens,

mugs, desk objects, as well as apparel.

Some recommendations…

Use logo artwork that has been approved for nexogy® Marketing department.•

Maintain a minimum clear space around the nexogy® logo from any text or graphic •

elements.

Use the appropriate logo format for your specific application.•

Use the nexogy® logo at the proper size for your specific application but no smaller •

than ¾” wide. The trademark or registration symbol can be omitted in especially

small applications.

Include only the nexogy® logo on any promotionoal material, unless the merchandise •

is to be used for a co–sponsored event or program.

Do not include any other logo or text on the item. If it is necessary to include a •

second logo or text, it should be positioned equal or less visual prominence.

7. SignageAcorporatesignageisanimportantopportunitytomakeaneffectiveimpressiononinternal and external audience.

nexogy® logo should be on the wall near or behind of a reception area with an adequate clear space on all sides of the logo. This sign must be in a brushed metal and positioned at eye–level —five to six feet from the floor, or two to three feet above the reception desk. No other text is allowed at reception areas, including legal entity names, location or business or function unit names. The trademark symbol does not need to appear on signage.

The specific construction methods and exact measurements are determined with the signage vendor of each market.
