Each round is a Grand Prix, and can also

be referred to as a MotoGP™ event or

MotoGP™ round, but not the MotoGP™ of

France. MotoGP™ is not an abbreviation of Moto Grand Prix, but a commercial name.

MotoGP™ can be used to refer to the sport

in general (e.g. MotoGP™ is one of the most

spectacular shows; the MotoGP™ season

kicks off next week; MotoGP™ lands in Germany, etc).

In a normal text, MotoGP™ should be written as such, in one word. Even titles or headlines written in upper case must spell the word with the correct upper and lower

case characteristics: MotoGP™. Moto GP

or Moto G.P or MOTOGP™ or MOTOGPTM must not be used.

Moto2™ should be written as such in a normal text maintaining its upper and

lower case characteristics. MotoGP™ 2 or
