This progress is visible in Poland and around the world. However, transplantation is not always understood and encounters various problems. In Poland, we conduct training, educational meetings and say even small children about what is transplantation. We strive to hit to different environments. BACKGROUND We checked the level of knowledge of transplantation in two groups of students: nursing students and students of economics. We wanted to determine whether students of medical university have a better knowledge of transplantation. We are trying to determine our plan of action and subsequent educational meetings for those who have insufficient knowledge about the transplant. OBJECTIVES We have prepared a questionnaire with questions about the transplant. The survey contained 30 questions open and closed. The study was attended by 100 nursing students and 100 students of economics. METHODS Although the number of transplants is increasing, however, not everyone knows what a transplantation is. For this reason, they should be organized regular training and educational meetings with students from different departments. We have to help them understand transplantology. Students of economics know less about the transplantation than nursing students. However, economics students more often declare that they want to be donors: heart, cornea, liver, pancreas and lungs. Both nursing students and economics students know what is transplantation. Nursing students give more correct answers. Few students of economics know what is brain death. Nursing students give more correct answers. The vast majority of nursing students believed that the transplantation of organs from deceased donors is ethical. Students of economics are very divided. Few students of economics knows what organs can be successfully transplanted. Nursing students often declare that they want to be organ donors. Nursing students often declare that they want to donate kidneys. Students of economics are able to give other organs for transplant. Students of economics often agree to transplant organs taken from their loved ones.

Transplantation is growing rapidly. This progress is visiblein Poland and around the world. However, transplantationis not always understood and encounters various problems. In Poland, we conduct training, educational meetings and say evensmall children about what is transplantation. We strive to hit to different environments.

BACKGROUND

We checked the level of knowledge of transplantation in twogroups of students: nursing students and students of economics. We wanted to determine whether students of medical universityhave a better knowledge of transplantation. We are trying to determine our plan of action and subsequenteducational meetings for those who have insufficient knowledgeabout the transplant.

OBJECTIVES

We have prepared a questionnaire with questions about the transplant. The survey contained 30 questions open and closed. The study was attended by 100 nursing students and 100 students of economics.

METHODS

Although the number of transplants is increasing, however, not everyone knows what a transplantation is. For this reason, they should be organized regular training and educational meetings with students from different departments. We have to help them understand transplantology.

Students of economics know less about the transplantation than nursing students. However, economics students more often declare that they want to be donors: heart, cornea, liver, pancreas and lungs.

Both nursing students and economics students know what is transplantation.Nursing students give more correct answers.

Few students of economics know what is brain death.Nursing students give more correct answers.

The vast majority of nursing students believed that the transplantation of organs from deceased donors is ethical.

Students of economics are very divided.

Few students of economics knows what organs can be successfully transplanted.

Nursing students often declare that they want to be organ donors.

Nursing students often declare that they want to donate kidneys.Students of economics are able to give other organs for transplant.

Students of economics often agree to transplant organs taken from their loved ones.
