Italian satirical comedy film. After the Trojan War, Glauco is the

A tribe of vicious female warriors terrorizes the

countryside, and especially the males, until one day the

men and some local villagers decide to fight

back.

The Yang family, men and women, had served their country (Song Dynasty) loyally for generations.

During the war with Western Xia, General Yang Tsung-pao is ambushed and killed. His death leaves his only son,

An european Amazon tribe need to select a leader so they have their top two

warriors strip to the waist, get oiled up by some

handmaidens and then enter into a mighty wrestling match

to see who will be the next War Goddess.

Amazons For Two Adventurers (1974) West

In this more adventure-oriented entry the superguys

encounter a bunch of cute but nasty amazons while

treasurehunting in the amazon jungle. Blink and you'll miss swedish sleaze starlet Marie

Ekorre as one of the amazons.

Swallows and Amazons

(1974) 92 min. UK

Director: Claude Whatham.

Stars: Virginia McKenna, Ronald Fraser, Simon West.

On holiday with their mother in the Lake District in 1929 four children are allowed to

sail over to the nearby island in their boat Swallow and set

up camp for a few days. They soon realise this has been the territory of two other girls who sail the

Amazon, and the scene is set for serious rivalry.

The Embroidery Bandit is stealing treasures while blinding

his victims. The hero Liu Xiaofeng is called in to solve the mystery. The evidence points to the all-woman Clan of the Red

An adventurer searches for the fabled Golden Cities of El Dorado and allies himself with a tribe of

Amazon women against a murderous villain who is also after

the treasure.

A female doctor treats a senator who comes to the

emergency room with appendicitis. The senator is

killed. When the senator's wife demands an investigation, the

Set during the days of the Roman Empire. A simple

village is raided by Roman troops, and most of the

people are whisked off to be slaves or killed. Three women survive and set off to liberate

their people.

Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1986) 99 min. USA

Earl Jones.

Allan Quatermain once again teams up with Jesse Huston

where the discovery of a mysterious old gold piece

sends Quatermain looking for his long-lost brother, missing

In a post-apocalyptic world, a

camp of Amazon women is raided by a gang of

murderous bandits, who kill everyone in the camp except one small girl. She grows up to be a mercenary, and one

day she takes a job escorting the two daughters of a

powerful warlord across a river.

Rana, Queen of the Amazon

In the 1940s, Rana,

queen of the Amazons, has to face up to the

invasion of her natural paradise by the evil

explorer, Ilsa. Eventually both go through

unspeakable horror, and gore.

Hercules and the Amazon Women

Stars: Kevin Sorbo, Anthony Quinn.

Hercules and Iolaus take

time out from Iolaus' wedding preparations, to

help a distant village under attack from "monsters". When they reach their

destination, they find the monsters are in fact

Amazonian women who are controlled by Hera.

Barbarian Queen II: The Empress Strikes Back

The Interplanetary Surplus Male and

Amazon Women of Outer Space

Social satire disguised as a sex comedy......The

Surplus Male is reminiscent of the sci-fi

pot-boilers of the 50s and 60s, as well as a spoof of low-budget filmmaking.

She Wolves of the Wasteland

(2007) 85 min.

A post-apocalyptic classic that features women--lots and lots of women--who

leave little to the imagination as they battle

each other in various junkyards and gravel pits to determine the fate of the

entire world.

On the mystical island of Themyscira, a proud and

fierce warrior race of Amazons have raised a

daughter of untold beauty, grace and

strength Princess Diana. When an Army fighter

pilot, Steve Trevor, crash-lands on the island, the

Trevor back to civilization.
