As the year comes

to a close……

…. we look back on some of our projects from this year and take a second to marvel

in their dazzling glory.

From fizzing bath bombs to moss covered boxes, we’ve produced a myriad of

different creative mailers that have travelled to every corner of the UK (and the

world!).

Events came back with a bang which means we’ve been able to dust off our

production box and coordinating overalls, flex our styling muscles and get stuck in!

We’ve rolled around grand estates in giant zorbs, held morning fitness classes and

created some pretty gorgeous insta-worthy tablescapes.

As we approach 2022 we raise a glass of something mulled to celebrate the brands,

our clients, the briefs and our fabulous team!

Cheers to 2021!

The Ministry, London

To announce their new brand ambassador Joe Wicks to media, Heaps +

Stacks were asked to design and produce a press day and fitness session

for top tier media.

We sourced a venue, dressed the space with impactful and shareable

displays, looked after all covid and risk controls and managed the catering.

The whole event and fitness class was filmed for those that couldn’t

attend, and we worked with a film crew to create a video for people to be

able to do post event remotely.

At The Homes Of Press & Influencers

Taking inspiration from John Lewis’s wellbeing weekend focusing on 3

main themes: Waking up Refreshed, Reshaping your Routine and Being

Good to Yourself. The box represented a truly holistic approach to

wellness. Crafted from recyclable materials such as wood and moss (which

has great air cleaning properties) and featuring a range of goodies from the

John Lewis home, beauty and fashion ranges, this box was designed to

promote wellness from the inside out!

To keep in with the sustainable focus of the box, we designed the lid so

that it could be detached completely and used again as an art piece or wall

hanging. We also designed a beautiful printed information card that

included details about all the materials used in the box and how recipients

could properly recycle or reuse items from the box.

Every design element of the box was thoughtfully produced to help reduce

waste as much as possible and ensure the box could be reused or recycled

after it’s initial use.

The Londoner, London

Caudalie briefed Heaps + Stacks to produce an overnight stay at brand new super-

boutique hotel, The Londoner.

Heaps + Stacks delivered bedrooms dressed with crisp florals, positive affirmation

mirror vinyl's, bespoke #selflove pillar candles in the product Pantone, personalised

welcome notes and itineraries, tons of gorge gifts and even a bespoke Caudalie

Chronicle morning newspaper served with breakfast!

We transformed the two master suites into salon rooms where guests were treated to

mini facials. In the evening, the influencers enjoyed a film screening at the hotel’s very

own Odeon Luxe cinema. We created bespoke vintage-style cinema tickets, and

branded popcorn boxes, paper cups, cocktail napkins, pick n mix bags, and arranged for

delicious hand delivered pizzas in bespoke branded pizza boxes.

The following morning, we styled the hotel’s courtyard for a morning Sweaty Betty gym

class, and guests attended decked in matching sage green gear - so on brand

McDonald’s HQ, London

Heaps + Stacks were briefed by Red Consultancy to create a striking

environment to showcase and launch the new McPlant Burger for McDonald’s.

Heaps + Stacks designed and created a beautiful plant-inspired space with

plenty of photo moments for the product and guests. A long sweeping table was

covered in overgrown greenery, with light touches of red and yellow foliage to

reflect McDonald's iconic branding. Dotted throughout on wooden rounds and

cabbage plates was the new sustainable natural cardboard box and guests were

encouraged to take snaps of their vegan burgers amongst the foliage.

Wild green moments sprung up around the space and one corner was

overgrown with plants, golden M's and the bright green McPlant logo for guests

to stand amongst and have their photo taken. A large wooden display cabinet

was dressed with on-brand styling items and plants, all centred around a TV

screen that played the campaign film to the guests.

At The Homes Of Press & Influencers

Heaps + Stacks were engaged by W Comms to Launch the ZX 2K

BOOST PURE. The output had to creatively tie back to the Oddly

Satisfying proposition and 2021’s mindfulness theme, whilst being

considerate of the audience’s current lifestyle (in lockdown at

time of launch).

We created an oddly satisfying jigsaw, which came packaged

inside a premium black box. Inside the box, guests discovered a

giant bath bomb bespoke made to hero the colours of the product

and which could be enjoyed in the tub! The fizzing of the bath

bomb created great video content, and when it was over the

jigsaw floated to the surface encased in a waterproof pod.

The jigsaw itself was printed on Plike (taking its name from its

unique 'plastic-like' feel) which has a remarkable soft finish and

exceptionally matt appearance. This material is fully

biodegradable and recyclable which worked well for adidas and

their sustainable credentials.

Jack Solomon's, London

M&S tasked Heaps + Stacks to design and produce their first event

back after lockdown – and it needed to be back with a bang!

Guests entered though an unassuming pop up shop style space

which lead onto an impressive velvet draped room with a celling

dazzlingly full of disco balls.

On the decks – was the kind of memes (and tunes) Fat Tony, and

amongst the crowd we had all sort of famous faces from Master Chef

and Love Island.

The OTT, delicious xmas collection was highlighted around the space

in eye-catching displays which spilled out across banqueting tales.

At The Homes Of Press & Influencers

Heaps + Stacks were briefed by Hope and Glory to create a mailer for

Roku Gin to celebrate World Gin day.

The mailer had to bring to life the flavour profiles and unique

ingredients of the gin in an engaging, beautiful and sensory way. The

materials and design must reference the Japanese craft and the

artisan quality of the brand.

We looked to traditional Eastern food, art and culture for inspiration

and decided to create a set of bespoke fortune cookies. Each cookie

was flavoured with one of the six botanicals found in the gin. These

included Sakura flower, Sakura leaf, Yuzu peel, Sencha tea (green

tea), Gyokuro tea (refined green tea) and Sanshō pepper. Each cookie

was beautifully packaged in a box wrapped in a paper sleeve made

from traditional Japanese paper and foiled in gold.

Alongside the cookies was everything you need to make a signature

Roku gin and tonic including a cotton drawstring bag with a piece of

fresh ginger, a mini can of tonic water and the Roku gin.

Penhaligons Regent Street Store, London

Penhaligon’s briefed Heaps + Stacks to elevate the in-store experience for media attending

their Christmas party. Taking inspiration from their playful seasonal window display, filled with

festive candy packaging and nostalgic props, we transformed the store to create a nostalgic

and joyful environment to experience the Penhaligon’s Christmas range.

Working with the architectural features of their iconic Regent Street store, we designed

custom set build pieces and dressing to create a vintage sweet shop feel. The mirrored shelving

featured at the back of the store was adorned with vintage glass sweetie jars filled with a range

of colourful candies that referenced the colour palette of the Penhaligon’s Christmas

campaign.

For the central display, we created an abstract candy cane tree inspired by campaign imagery.

The tree, constructed of pillars in various widths painted in candy colours of aqua, red and

lilac, doubled as a creative display for the Penhaligon’s products.

During the event, hunky waiters (in handmade velvet candy-striped bow ties) served

champagne complete with a candy cane stirrer and mince pie tarts and snowflake brownies.

Claridges, London

Heaps + Stacks were briefed by The Body Shop to produce a media event for up to

15 journalists. The event aimed to introduce the press to The Body Shop Christmas

gifting collection, as well as launch The Honeypot Charity partnership and

introduce them to a spokesperson from the charity.

Guests were treated to an overnight stay at the iconic hotel Claridge’s. In every

guests bedroom was a beautiful array of The Body Shop gifting for the guests to

take home with them and enjoy for months to come. Also in their rooms was a

festive Christmas hamper filled with joyful ginger bread men, a honey bee

Christmas decoration and much more. Taking inspiration from the Christmas

collection and campaign we then produced an exclusive sit down dinner at one of

Claridge’s private dining spaces.

In keeping with the brand’s ethos, all dressing elements used for the dinner were

sustainable and easily recyclable or reusable, sourcing props that were made from

natural materials.

Private Residence, London

Dr Jart briefed Heaps + Stacks to create a dynamic brand experience and PR

stunt to celebrate the launch of the new Ceramidin range.

Set in the beautifully picturesque grounds of Chenies Manor House, top Dr

Jart social influencers and their friends were invited to a day of yellow

sunshine fun.

They arrived in private cars up the sweeping driveway (with one lucky guest

getting their own branded Dr Jart electric taxi) and were escorted through

the grounds to get dressed in yellow Dr Jart jumpsuits, making their way over

to the zorbing race area. Here they were greeted by two hype-gals to run

through the race rules - the aim to go from dry cracked skin to happy

hydrated skin in a giant Ceramide orb (the zorb)!

After the antics guests were invited to lounge on large yellow round bean

bags surrounded by styling touches inspired by the Ceramidin orb and the

yellow and white Dr Jart branding. From the branded bar was served bubble

tea and bubble waffles, in keeping with the spherical vibes.
