different major! Come to network with Professional Women in the Computer/Information Technology

profession to get a better understanding of what a career in IT is like and how you might consider a career in

the technology field. Temple's CIS department has partnered with the NWCT (National Women in

Computing Technology) to provide this event.

2.NET/WORK jobs fair: students get in for free – 2/10 from 1 to 7

NET/WORK is a technology jobs fair where organizations show off their company culture and attendees

show off their personality. Entry-level positions and internships are available.

More than 60 businesses, startups and organizations will be at this jobs fair on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Union

Transfer.

They’ll be hiring.

created, full-time role that will join an experienced team responsible for all aspects of the firm’s technology,

Duties:

6.Grace Hopper Women in Computing 2015 Grace Hopper Women in Computing 2015 (http://gracehopper.org/) will be held in Houston, October 14-16. This conference provides incredible networking opportunities. Last year there were 8,000 women technologists attending. Speakers include many very successful women who have top management technology positions there are seminars on so many current topics. About the QAD Fast Track Program

QAD provides an increasingly complex technological solution to the marketplace, requiring a greater breadth and depth of knowledge from its workforce. It has become an increasingly difficult task to ensure that essential product knowledge reaches our customers and is dispersed throughout the organization. The QAD Fast Track program is designed to help with the transference of knowledge within and among the different functional groups, and to facilitate a greater understanding of customer demand.

The complete Fast Track program is twelve months in duration and has three components: Research & Development (R&D), Customer Support and Services. Every Fast Track participant will work through each of these components/departments, and will receive extensive training, hands-on experience and preparation to take the appropriate APICS certification exams. The program will start with a 6 month R&D assignment (6 months at Corporate office in Santa Barbara, CA or 3 months in Santa Barbara, CA and 3 months in Atlanta, GA or a European location), then move to Customer Support for 3 months (Mt. Laurel, NJ location) and finish up with 3 months in Services (at the Mt. Laurel, NJ location, or a European location and/or customer sites in the US or Europe). Upon successful completion of the program, the Fast Track participants will be evaluated for placement in one of the three functional departments to further their QAD careers. Candidates typically will be selected for a set functional path at hire.
