Senior Josh Wake, WrestlingFor Wake (Delhi/Delaware Academy) earning All-America

honors is the crowning athletic achievement for a four-year career that has put him in the top tier of student athletes in the history of the college. He will graduate with 129 career wins, which is sec-ond all-time to Dustin Winn ‘05. He is a two-time ECWC champion and a three-time wrestling Schol-ar All-American, which are just a few of the acco-lades he has accrued during his brilliant career. Heendedupplacingsixthat184lbs.atthechampionshipsandhelpedtheRedDragonsfinish12thinthefinalteamstandings.

Wake completed his senior season with an overall record of 41-12. The 41 wins are the second most in a single season since Winn recorded 42 during the 2004-05 season.

Junior Chris Wade, WrestlingWade (Islip/Islip) began his NCAA cham-

pionship with a match against the defending Div. III champion at 174 lbs., Evan Brown of Dubuque. Wade dropped a close 4-2 decision, which dropped him into the wrestle-back side of the bracket.
