Athletic Training Class
Grades 3-5 | Mondays, January 25-March 14 | 3:10-4:10
Winter 2016 Bonny Slope After School Classes
Athletic Training is beneficial for enhancing sports performance in athletes of
all sports, as well as for improving coordination and efficiency of movement.
Specialized Speed, Agility, and Quickness drills train the body to move with
precision in all planes of motion with the maximum force and velocity.
Using ladders, hurdles, cones, parachutes, and more we will perform drills
and relays designed to increase flexibility, strength, and core stability while
concentrating on executing proper form. This aids in injury prevention while
improving power and conditioning.
This session will be coached by Darrin Halley, Personal Trainer and
Performance Enhancement Specialist, with an additional Coach.
This class is designed for students in 3rd-5th grade who are ready to take their sports to the next level.
All skill levels welcomed! The Beaverton School District does not sponsor or endorse the information and/or activities in Community Flyers.
