Expectations◦ Complete assigned work as directed◦ If too difficult, make an attempt and have a

parent make a note of the difficulty

No Homework Form◦ Meant as an instant communication ◦ When a student does not have their HW in class

for any reason (whether it is complete or not) he/she fills out a No HW Form. It explains what the assignment is, and why it is not in class. The teacher signs it, the student signs it, and then it goes home for a parent to sign.

◦ BOTH the form and the assignment must come back to the next class in order to receive some credit.

When a student is absent we have a student collect work for him/her

You may request to pick up work by calling the attendance office at 293-4542 x3500 by 9:00 am on the second day of absence

The folder will be placed in the mailbox slots on the wall behind the greeter’s desk after school OR

The student’s work will be in his/her mailbox when they return

When your son/daughter is absent, please send in a note upon his/her return.

If you will be picking up your child early, also send a note when possible.

If your child will be taking a different bus home from school, he/she will also need a note.

Conference Day – November 5th ◦ You may sign up on the clipboards if you want

to come in for a conference.◦ If you would prefer an e-mail or phone

conference, please use the appropriate sheets for those.

◦ Conferences may be scheduled at other times throughout the year.

◦ There will be another conference scheduled on March 18th.
