• Catnic Brikmat is BBA certified under Certificate No. 04/4163* and meets NHBC technical requirements. Tested for flexural and shear strength to BS EN 1052-2/3 to satisfy guidelines in BS 5628 Part 1.

• Use Catnic Brikmat for all construction jobs large or small with all types of bricksand blocks (minimum 100mm width) and is ideal for all those heavy decorativedetails where quality bricklaying is not an option but a requirement.

• Catnic Brikmat enables gauge height to be maintained between brickwork andblockwork, and will minimise edge/corner dipping.

Catnic Brikmat fast build, perfect results.

Lay your first course of bricks/blocks and checklevel and alignment. If adjustment is required buildin a check course to regain level and plumb.

Tip: Check bricks and blocks for size and refer toCatnic Brikmat height guide

Lay the Catnic Brikmat onto brick/blockwork;apply an even bed of mortar to cover the CatnicBrikmat.

Tip: Avoid applying too much mortar if bricks orblocks are dry or lightweight.

Press the brick/block down firmly and evenly untilthey come to a rest on the Catnic Brikmat.Remove the excess mortar.

Tip: Bricklayers using the Catnic Brikmat for thefirst time tend not to push the brick or block downfirmly enough.

Continue to build as normal, making regularchecks for level, plumb alignment and gaugeheight.
