Know your environment from the inside out. Most people decide what they want to express, then they find the audience. However, it should be the other way around. You must first know your audience such as their background, values, and their demand, then you express your view . 

FITTYCENTListen to your audience. Too often, people like to speak and not listen. When you don't listen it is hard to connect with your audience. 50 cent used this tactic to become successful in his career. He listened to his fans.

In the 50 cent article he was all about emphasizing relate to the audience! it was very helpful, kind of got me thinking to narrow my focus more on what is going on around me and not to try to think up a topic that I'm not really passionate about. 

As a writer we must relate to our audience.  There are different ways to relate to an audience.  Fifty Cent explains about using feedback, growing close to your audience, learning about them and letting them learn about you.

75 ARGUMENTS

Logos is based on facts and/or figures and it appeals to the logic. What I like about logos is it is packed with many different meanings (i.g. word, thought, principle, speech, sign, symbol, and icon). I find this to be very powerful in argumentative writing. I like the idea of giving logic and reasoning.

Providing with multiple perspective. From the video clip, it stated that you can lose credibility when you don't include multiple perspectives. It is important to include counter arguments in order to make your case more effective

The sample essay by Harker shows how to write on a college level, not like we're talking to a friend.   Excerpts form LCC Faculty Handbook also touches on this point. 

Believing Doubting game shows a great way to brainstorm both sides of an argument.
