Michael_Chabon

Novelist, screenwriter, columnist and short story writer Michael Chabon was born May 24, 1963 in Washington, DC. He grew up in the suburbs of Columbia, Maryland. In 1984 he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in English. In 1987, he received a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of California at Irvine. Between 1987 and 1990 he published a number of short sto-ries, mostly in The New Yorker, but also in Gentleman’s Quarterly and Mademoiselle. Some of these are collected in A Model World (1991), a second set of short stories, Chabon has also written a number of pieces for DC Comics, and co-wrote the story for Spider-Man 2.

Born July 1, 1962 is a two-time Emmy Award-winning American actor. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of fiery detective Frank Pembleton on Homicide: Life on the Street from 1993 to 1998, and again in the 2000 made-for-TV movie. Braugher, the youngest of four children, was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Sally, a postal worker, and Floyd Braugher, a heavy-equipment operator. He went to high school at St. Ignatius College Prep. Originally a pre-med student, he graduated from Staford University with a B.A. in theater in 1984. Braugher then attended the Juilliard School in New York City.

Born on November 26, 1969 in Stockton, California, United States. She is a famous artist. Kara has completed her education in Art from “Rhode Island School of Design in Painting” and Printmaking from “Atlanta College of Art”. She is an artist who paints about gender, sexuality and violence. Her work displays identity and gender issues for African American women. In 2007 she was named as “One of the 100 Most Influential People in the World”, by Time Magazine. After the Hurricane Katrina, effecting most of the black people in New Orleans, she drew images of “black corporeality,”including casualties from the hurricane.

Born in Bloomington, Indiana in 1967, Joshua Bell began playing the violin at age 4. Growing up, he didn’t focus on the violin. At age 11 he subsequently began to devote more time to the violin. He began studying with Josef Gingold at Indiana University. In 1981, Bell began performing with some of the world’s leading orchestras. In 1989, he graduated from Indiana University. Joshua Bell has captured the public’s attention like no other classical violinist of his time.
