SECOND DRAFT OF MY MAGAZINE

I have changed my mind and started to do a different age group 16 and over

magazine, the reason why I have changed my target audience is because many

teenager today buy magazines to get updated by fashion and many other things.

They also consider on the music that is played, for this reason I have chosen pop

many teenager listen to pop and R&B. The magazine that I have done is very

different to the magazine that I have done before because it contains different

features and style. The contents page that I have done for this magazine looks

very professional and also looks unique. Another change that I have done to my

magazine is , I have changed my model for the magazine the model is 16 years

old and the model that I had before for my first draft of my magazine is 13 years

old. I have chosen the right age group to be model so it suits for my magazine. I

have done many changes to this magazine. Over all I prefer my second draft of my

magazine because it is done very well and professional.

VERSION1• The masthead was done very different an this

make it look like an pop magazine, it had curved

edge on the masthead. The font that I have used

is very unique looking.

• The image that I have taken for the magazine,

has been cropped so that it can look better with

the background.

• I have also added text on the bottom left side, it

is the starting of the side text that I am doing.

• The background colour that I have used is grey

with different tone, I have done this to make the

magazine look more professional.

• I have also chosen a specific colour scheme-

blue, grey, white and black, the colour black has

not been used yet.

VERSION 2

• I have done quiet lot of changes by working on this

front page, I have added the price and the moth the

issue was out. I have also added more text on the side

, and I have presented it differently by having various

of fonts and by keeping the same colour scheme.

• Another change that I have done is added a quotation

to make the magazine look interesting fir people, the

quotation was by the model.

• I have also added a skyline at the bottom of the page

to make the magazine look professional, the skyline

has been ordered as the colour scheme –grey, white

and blue. The colour of the skyline is black so all of

the colour on the skyline is the same as the colour

scheme

VERSION 3

• I have done many changes on this version as

you can see, I have added an border on the

quotation so that it stands out

• I have added shapes to the quotation , so that it

looks more like a music magazine.

• I have also attempt a try on the barcode on the

right side but it will have an improvement on the

next version.

• I have also added more text on the left side,

now it looks more like an ….

• I have also added shape to the word hottest and

made the word ‘hottest’ stand out from the

magazine.

• The colour scheme that I have used is done very

well and matches very well together.

• I have also added a box behind the name of the

singer ‘Amelia Peters’.

• I have also moved the price and the month the

issue was released

VERSION 4

• I have not done many changed from the last

version but I have finished doing the barcode.

• And I have moved few text so that it looks more

professional

• Over all I think i have worked very hard for this

magazine and now it looks so much better than

the first draft of front cover that I did.

• I think I have used a lot of different font types to

make it look interesting and attractive like the

word ‘OMG’.
