Design 1:

This was my first outcome of designing my own magazine front cover. I personally believe this front cover has some good aspects about it but also some negative aspects.

Good aspects:

• The Masthead• The Banner located at the top• The main image

Negative Aspects:

• The Box surrounding the artists name and lure look very amateur

Design 2:

This was my second outcome of designing my own magazine front cover. I personally believe this is the best front cover design as it looks more professional and really shows off the genre of Acoustic.

Good aspects:

• The main image – Links well with the genre

• The masthead – Bold and clear• The lure – Its been given more of a

professional look and stands out more

• Main cover line (Oakley Alvarez)• The barcode - located in a good area

Negative Aspects:

• Image on bottom right needed
