By using Photoshop, I edited the brightness of the image in order to make her seem whiter as her face had many patches of different colours due to the lighting used.

To select what font I wanted I had to look through many fonts until I found one suitable enough for the target market and one that matched the artists name. I then had to select a colour (pink) to fit in with the colour theme

During this process I had to flip the letter ‘R’ in order to get it looking like a mirrored reflection. This was very easy as all I had to do was drag the image from right to left adjusting the size to match the rest of the writing.

In order to use an image of the internet I had to edit it to make it my own. I used Pixlr to edit this image. I strengthened the brightness of the image and added in a cloudy effect to make the band seem dreamy in order to fit in with the title of the article on them and their new tour.

I had to edit this image on Pixlr as I got it off the internet. I sharpened the image so that the main features of the artist were more visible.

I pasted the image I edited on Pixlr onto Photoshop and adjusted the size to make it fit onto the page under the mast head.

To make the page look nicer I slanted the image and added a purple square behind it by selecting the rectangle tool and filling the box in purple.

Copy and paste image from desktop onto Photoshop.

I slanted the image slightly to make the page seem more fun and to make some space for text to go with the image.

The final addition to the first draft is the text to Go with the one direction picture. I kept the Font the same throughout the front page to make The magazine consistent. Although young teenage Girls like different colours and more variety, I feltThat I had to keep the magazine looking professionalAs well as having it fit for my target market.
