solutions

Following the acquisition of ODIM, we

now have the capability to deliver

complete automated handling systems

for subsea vessels in addition to our

current range of ship design and

integrated systems solutions. Thesystems encompass engines, propellers,

thrusters, steering gear, rudders,

stabilisers, deck machinery and

automation & control systems.

Deepwater installation is still expected

to experience strong growth. The

number of wells in waters of more than

1 500 metres depth will increasesubstantially incoming years, creating a

need for a number of offshore

construction and installation vessels

which can operate in deep seas. Fields

in ultra-deep water (more than 1 500

metres) lie primarily off the West coast

of Africa, in the Gulf of Mexico and off

the coast of Brazil.

Benefits:

Our complete system

deliveries include fully

integrated control systems,

providing manoeuvring

monitoring and safety features.

One provider secures easy

interfacing for installation and

service.

We offer multi-purpose aft deck systems

for offshore vessels operating in the

subsea sector. Our solutions have been

developed to enhance the operational

efficiency of our customers. Our

ambition is to provide all our customerswith a complete offer. We will supply

unique technology, we will integrate a

number of our unique products into

unified solutions, and we will play an

active role in the customer’s

development of its own operations. We

seek the position as the premier partnerin the customer’s critical operations.

 Active heave compensation enables

vessels to execute operations even

under harsh weather conditions,

extending the operational areas

significantly.
