You’ll need to be a person with a strong sense of yourself and your purpose; a visionary but grounded by a hands-on natural style that allows you quickly to connect with, and lead people no matter who they are. You think strategically, are business-minded, connected and financially astute. Others will say you are an inspirational person they trust. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience in identifying, implementing and managing services for people who are at risk of exclusion.
If this sounds like you and what you value and you can demonstrate the qualities, skills and experience we are looking for then we’d love to hear from you and more about your own aspirations.
The current salary for this post is circa £40k, depending on experience and skills. As the organisation grows ever more autonomous this salary will increase to reflect this progress. This is an exciting post that will put the post holder in control of their own career development.
We are now recruiting 2 full time positions based in Kilmarnock:
Reporting to the Finance Director you’ll be an experienced accountant with an ability to work under your own initiative in a small growing team. You’ll have experience of overseeing:
· a growing payroll function (including monthly reconciliations, year end, compliance and RTI)
· a busy sales ledger
· all bank transactions and reconciliations.
You’ll have an ability to prepare quarterly management accounts for each person we support (Individual Service Funds) as well as the
Management Teams. You’ll share the values of the organisation and assist the Finance Director to prepare the annual statutory accounts, maintain the Fixed Asset Register and liaise with external auditors. You must have an eye for detail, excellent communications skills and an advanced knowledge of Sage Payroll, Sage Accounts and Excel.
If this sounds like you and you can demonstrate an ability to continually develop these finance functions to support a growing group then we would love to hear from you.
