    Parashah 12: Vayechi (He lived)

Parashah 12: Vayechi (He lived) - Genesis 47:28 through 50:26

Haftarah (Writings and Prophets): 1 Kings 2:1-12.B'rit Hadasha (New Testament): Acts 7:9-16; Hebrews 11:21-22.

    Summary & Overview

    TORAH

o  Genesis 47:27 | The Last Days of Jacob

    o  Genesis 48:1 | Jacob Blesses Joseph's Sons

o  Genesis 49:1 | Jacob's Last Words to His Sons

    o  Genesis 49:29 | Jacob's Death and Burial

o  Genesis 50:15 | Joseph Forgives His Brothers

    o  Genesis 50:22 | Joseph's Last Days and Death

This Torah Portion concludes the Book of Genesis as well as the story ofJoseph and next week we will be starting in the Book of Exodus.

    Jacob Blessed Joseph’s Sons

Gen 48:17-20  Now when Joseph saw thathis father laid his right hand on the head of

Ephraim, it displeased him; so he took hold ofhis father’s hand to remove it from Ephraim’shead to Manasseh’s head.  18 And Joseph saidto his father, “Not so, my father, for this oneis the firstborn; put your right hand on hishead.”   19 But his father refused and said, “Iknow, my son, I know. He also shall become a

people, and he also shall be great; but trulyhis younger brother shall be greater than he,and his descendants shall become a multitudeof nations.”   20 So he blessed them that day,

saying, “By you Israel will bless, saying, ‘May God make you as Ephraimand as Manasseh!’” And thus he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

Jacob said that Ephraim and Manasseh were like his own two sons Reuben andSimeon, his first and second born. Not only that but Joseph was seen asJacob’s firstborn from his beloved wife, Rachael. With this, we see that Jacobtreated Joseph’s sons as if they were his own two firstborn sons. Then we seesomething more out of the ordinary; Jacob chose Ephraim over Manasseh asthe “Firstborn” performing the blessing if the firstborn with his right hand onEphraim. Not only was Joseph favoured over his brothers in the eyes of Jacob, but Joseph's sons were also treated as Jacob’s own sons and became two

important tribes of their own, replacing Joseph as a tribe. Ephraim received agreater blessing hence a greater responsibility and role to play in the Plan ofYHVH.

We see that Ephraim plays and important role in the end time prophecies whereY’shua came to restore back the lost scattered house of Israel, calling them thetribe Ephraim. The northern ten tribes are referred to in Scripture as either Israelor Ephraim, and the southern kingdom is known as Judah.

Eze 37:16-19  And you, son of man, take for yourself one

stick and write on it, For Judah and for the sons of Israel, his companions; then take another stick andwrite on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and allthe house of Israel, his companions. Then join them foryourself one to another into one stick, that they may becomeone in your hand. And when the sons of your people speak toyou saying, Will you not declare to us what you mean bythese? say to them, Thus says YHVH Elohim, Behold, I willtake the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, andthe tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will put them with it,with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will

    be one in My hand.

People around the world today return back to the Hebraic roots of their faithmaking them part of fulfilling this prophecy. Through this process, a lot ofgentiles come into the faith, and they are grafted in with the “scatteredIsraelites”. It was as if YHVH are using these scattered tribes as a net, and ashe pulls them back in, a lot of nations enter the Kingdom. That is why Y’shuacalled His Disciples fishers of men as we have seen in last week’s TorahPortion.

You might be part of the original Israel; you might even be part of Judah or Levi, known as the Jews today. But the most of the people will be from the gentiles,

coming out of the nations with scattered Ephraim. YHVH will then reunite theseTwo Houses, Joseph (Ephraim, Israel) and Judah together in the hand ofMessiah.

    Jacob Blesses His 12 Sons

Jacob blessed and spoke prophetic wordsover his 12 sons that later became the 12Tribes of Israel. These blessings areprophetic utterances that will form and shapethe history of each one of these Tribes.

We are going to look at each of these“blessings” and see what wisdom we canglean from each of these blessings on aprophetic, spiritual and personal level.

    1. Reuben

Ruben is the firstborn of the sons of Jacob and His namemeans “behold a son”.

Gen 49:3  Positive: First born, given strength, dignity and

    power.

Negative: Unstable as water – defiled his Fathers bed and blew it all as aresult of sexual weakness. How many men of God fell like Ruben?

    Lesson from Ruben:

Strength  is the word “on” OE@ that means “the ability to attain wealth througheffort”. The letter “Aleph” is represented by an ox and is a symbol of strength. Italso represents YHVH, both adding up to the number 26. This means that the

strength or ability to attain wealth comes from the Father and not from yourself.Y’shua received His strength from His Father.

Dignity is the word “se-eth”Z@Y that means “exaltation in rank andcharacter ”. The word “se-eth” ends with the “Aleph-Tav” that representsMessiah. It starts with the letter “Shin” that means “fire” and represents the“Spirit of YHVH”. Your exaltation in rank and character is dependent uponreceiving the Messiah and well as the “Appointment” or “Anointing” of His Spirit.Your character will be changed through engaging with Messiah and YHVH’sSpirit, and He will appoint you, giving you a “rank” through the gifts of His Spirit.Your dignity, worthiness and honour are not from yourself but come from Y’shua

and His Spirit. Y’shua had received the Spirit of YHVH before He started Hisministry.

Power  is the word “az” FR (Aying – Zayin) that means “strong, harsh, fierce, mighty and power”. “ Ayin” means “eye” that is on the right-hand side depictingspiritual sight and “zayin” means “sword” that symbolises the Word of YHVH.When Y’shua was tempted in the Wilderness by Satan, He defeated Satan byquoting the Word of YHVH. The Word can sound harsh at times especially whenit is used to judge a situation, but it surely is powerful and fierce dealing withevery attack of the enemy. To overcome Satan or the enemy is not fromyourself, but only through the Word of YHVH. Y’shua is the Word of YHVH, and

He did everything He saw the Father was doing.

Unstable as water : Water needs to be in a container to make it stable, and thestructure given to a vine makes it bear fruit. We need the Torah of YHVH to helpus overcome our own fleshly instabilities and contain the animal within. Ourstability does not come from ourselves but comes from YHVH’sCommandments.

Different denominations have a different view of Who the Messiah is and whatHe is like. The Messiah without Torah or Structure have Strength, Dignity andPower but is unstable as water. The People who know the Messiah with Torahsee Him as one with Strength, Dignity, power and Stability. It is YHVH’s plan toreveal the real Messiah to His people.

    4. Judah

Judah is the 4th born of Jacob. Judah DCEDI means, “letHim be praised” and contains the name YHVH DEDI with

a “Dalet” C inserted. We saw from the previous TorahPortions that when you insert a letter into a name it impliesthat the person’s character or destiny changes. In this case, YHVH’s Namechanged, and His destiny changed as well by sending His Son through the Tribeof Judah as depicted by the “dalet” that means door , showing that Y’shua is theWay or Door that leads to the Father (YHVH).

    G 49:8

Positive: Judah will be praised by his brothers and his hand will be onenemies neck and kill them. He is like a Lion and his Father and brotherswill bow before Him and Nations will bring him tribute. He will hold the

Royal sceptre between his feet and is is the lawgiver that protects theTorah until the “gathering of the people” comes at the end.

      Negative: None

Lesson from Judah: Judah is better known as the Jews today, they areappointed and anointed by YHVH to guard and protect the Torah until He comesagain to gather His people. Judah or the Jews will always triumph over theirenemies and will rule nations. Y’shua is from the Tribe of Judah and many of thethings prophesied over Judah came true through Messiah. He is from Royaldescent and will rule with the Torah as King over all nations and they will bring

tribute to him. His brothers (11 tribes) will bow before Him.He will bound his foal (young ass) to the vine and washed his garments in wineand his clothes in the blood of grapes. Can you see the connection to MessiahY’shua? His eyes will be red wine (suffered and died – shed His Blood) and histeeth will be white as milk – brings righteousness and Holiness to those whospeak His Word).

    5. Dan

Dan was the 5th son of Jacob. Dan means Judge.

    Gen 49:16

Positive: He shall judge/avenge his people, as one ofthe tribes of Israel. He will be a serpent by the way,an adder in the path that bites the horse’s heels sothat his rider shall fall backwards.

      Negative: None

Lessons from Dan: Dan is known as one of the three lions and he increased innumber and had to move to the North of the Jordan and settled both at theNorth and the West of the Land and acts as one of the protectors of Israel. Dan

is also called a serpent that makes the riders fall backwards.

      6

Dan is has the symbol of a serpent because he was one of the first tribes tointroduce Idolatry into Israel.

    Hebrew Study Tip

Two words or thoughts can be connected if they share the samenumerical value. Every Hebrew letter represents a numerical value and

adding up these numbers of each word connects to other words with thesame numerical number.

Serpent is the word “nachash” and has the numerical value of 385 (50 + 8 +300 ) that is the same as the numerical number of “mashiach”  = 358 (40 +300 + 10 + 8 ). The Messiah became sin (serpent) and died on the stake, just like the serpent that was lifted in the wilderness and those who lookedupon the snake on the pole, lived. This gives the serpent a positive meaningthat points to the Messiah.

Dan gives us more insight regarding the Messiah; He is not only the

Saviour, the Way and Door to the Father, but He also the Judge.

He is the one who cause the riders to fall backwards. Everywhere in Scripture itshows YHVH’s enemies to fall backwards as a sign of their defeat and this iswhat Messiah, the Judge will do. He will come as the Warrior and Judge and will

come to judge and destroy His enemies.

Q – What have we learned so far?

We have seen from Ruben that we will “behold the Son” placing a heading onWho will be revealed through these prophetic words. Then we saw with Simeon

and Levi that the Father’s anger was kindled by man’s “self -will” that leads tosin. The Sacrificial System was introduced that facilitate Forgiveness thatcaused YHVH to rest from His anger. Then we saw a Door or Way that will beopened through Judah that leads to the Father. Dan gave us insight into theSacrifice, Who is the Messiah that would be judged in man’s place so thatforgiveness can turn the anger and judgement away from man. Y’shua will thenbecome the Judge who will destroy His enemies.

    6. Naphtali

The 6th son born to Jacob, second son of Jacob and Bilhah andyounger full brother of Dan. Naphtali means “my wrestling”.

    Gen 49:21

Positive: Naphtali is a hind (deer) let loose: he givesgoodly words.

      Negative: None

Lessons from Naphtali: Naphtali is a hind let loose: he gives goodly words.Goodly is the word “shepher ” and Words is the word “emer ” and both are foundthe first time in this Torah portion in this verse; Gen 49:21.

Hind is the word “ayalah” and is related to the word “alah” that means, “toascend” as discussed in last week’s Torah Portion.

  • 8/20/2019 Parashah 12- Vayechi (He Lived)

    7/13

      7

Hind is found in Ps 18:33 ; “…made my feet like the feet of a deer” as well as inIsa 52:6-7; “…how beautiful are the feet of him hat brings the Good

    News (Gospel – Goodly words)”.

“Shepher ” is only used once in the whole Scripture that makes itvery unique. There is only ONE Goodly word or Gospel

message that means that there is only ONE Way or messageof salvation. John the Baptist and Y’shua started there

opening words bringing the “Good news” with “…Repent, forthe Kingdom of YHVH is at hand…” The Goodly words are kind

words that turn you back to the Father and the first step isrepentance. This message of “Good news” or “goodly words” are there

to help those to find the Door so that they can return and “ascend” to the Father.

    7. Gad

Gad was the 7th son of Jacob, the first-born of Zilpah. Gad

means “troop and invader” and “good fortune”.

    Gen 49:19

Positive: A Troop will overcome him but he willovercome at last.

      Negative: None

Lessons from Gad: Gad (Gimel-Dalet) CB is a troop “gadid” that is associated

with war is spelt (Gimel-Dalet-Vav-Dalet) CECB and contains the name of one

of the greatest warrior leaders namely David CEC. David means Beloved andis a prophetic picture of Messiah.

Troop is found in 1 Sam 30:8 where David asked YHVH whether he shouldpursue this “troop” (enemy) after the city was burnt and their sons, daughtersand wives were taken captive. YHVH told him to do so and recover all that wastaken.

This matches with the blessing spoken over Gadwhere a “troop” will overcome but he (David, theBeloved) will overcome at last. We find a prophetic

meaning in this; Y’shua is the Beloved as depictedby David and He will come to take back that whichwas stolen by the “troop” or enemy. This isconfirmed in 1 Sam 30:10 where David and 400men (1 – Aleph, 400 – Tav ) went to take on theenemy.

After hearing the “Goodly Words” that led to Repentance as seen with Naphtali,we see that Gad represents an army that is raised up against the Enemy withtheir Commander none other than David, the Beloved Messiah.

    8. Asher

The 8th son born to Jacob, the son of Zilpah.

    Gen 49:20

Positive: His bread shall be fat, and he shall yieldroyal delicacies.

      Negative: None

    Lessons from Asher:

Asher mans “happy” and delicacies also means delight and cheerful, rhymingwith his name. We find this word “ma-adan” in 1 Sam 15:32 where Agag, king ofthe Amalekites was delighted because he thought that the “bitterness of death” has passed him by. This shows us that king Agag represents believers inMessiah who experienced salvation through the blood of the Lamb being verygrateful that they are saved.

The Amalekites always depict the flesh and we will discuss this in detail in anupcoming Parashah. Asher shall yield royal delicacies, the word royal is theHebrew word “melech” that means king and supports the story of king Agag in 1Sam 15. Asher’s bread shall be fat (greasy, oily and lusty). This supports theidea of “the flesh” as seen in the meaning of the Amalekites.

King Agag is found in the story where Saul rejected the word of YHVH andspared Agag as well as the best of his livestock. As a result of that, Samuelcame and told king Saul that he lost his kingship over Israel because of hisrebellion against YHVH’s Word that is seen as witchcraft in the eyes of YHVH.

We see the following thoughts connecting between Asher’s blessing and thestory in 1 Sam 15:

Asher (happy) – Agag was delighted because he thought he was “saved”.

      Amalek (flesh) – fat (lusty)

Royal - King Agag, king Saul

Fat bread – Word of YHVH (rejected), rebellion, witchcraft

Looking at this paints another picture that is not as positive as theblessing over Asher may sound. The one thing that stands out is the

“fat bread” that represents “words of man”, in this case king Saul’s words that replaced the Word of YHVH (bread of life). Rejecting of

replacing the Word of YHVH with man’s words is seen asrebellion and witchcraft. Fat bread can also be described at thehand of normal bread with leaven in it. Leaven or yeast is a signof sin that is why unleavened bread is used at Passover – removing sin.

We see royalty, people with authority ruling over the people ofYHVH. Asher yielded royal delicacies, which links with king Agagand king Saul. King Saul is a picture of leaders appointed over

YHVH’s people. King Agag is a picture of Believers who are saved but still eat“fat bread”, rejecting the Word of YHVH.

King Agag is the “king of the flesh” that is your Nefesh or fleshly soul that needsto die as ordered by the Word of YHVH that washes you clean on a daily basis.

  • 8/20/2019 Parashah 12- Vayechi (He Lived)

    9/13

      9

The defiled Word of YHVH or “Fat bread” is served to YHVH’s people byrebellious leaders. They are seen as rebellious and facilitators of witchcraft inthe eyes of YHVH. This causes the people of YHVH to spare “king Agag” ortheir “Nefesh” (fleshly souls) and in effect leave them fleshly instead of Holybefore YHVH.

Sad to say that this is what is happening in a lot of Congregations today rangingfrom Christianity right through to Judaism. The leaders do not teach YHVH’sWord, which is the bread of life, but rather feed them “fat bread” that feeds theflesh (feelings) instead of the the spirit.

The term “Bread of Life” is typically seen as Y’shua Who is the Saviour but it isactually the Word or Torah (Commandment or YHVH) as seen in the story in 1Sam 15 where Saul rejected the Word of YHVH, not the Messiah. Y’shua is theWord but He is also the Lamb that was slain. People seem to on;y receive theMessiah as the Lamb, the Saviour and not the Bread or the Word of YHVH(Torah).

Another interesting thing about king Agag is seen in his name BB@ spelt “Aleph – Gimel – Gimel”. Aleph symbolises YHVH, Gimel represents a Camel that canalso represent YHVH’s Spirit” We see one “Gimel” connected to the “Aleph”(YHVH) on the Right (Spiritual Gimel). We see another “Gimel” on the Left thatrepresents the physical (Fleshly Gimel).

Q - If the “Gimel” connected to YHVH is His Spirit, Who is thesecond “Gimel”?

Is that another spirit within the midst of YHVH’s people that causethem to go astray doing “witchcraft” following man made wordsinstead of YHVH’s Word or His Spirit? Y’shua warns us that therewill be false Messiah’s coming. This can imply false “anointedones” or leaders with a false anointing, from another spirit.

Personal Application:  What we learn from this is actually a warning toLeaders of Congregations; if they do not teach YHVH’s Word (flat bread)but rather feed the people “fat bread”, they will lose their authority asleaders and YHVH will appoint people “better than them”, people like kingDavid who was zealous regarding the Word of YHVH. People in theCongregation should not feed on “fat -bread” they feed on as served in theircongregation and challenge their leaders. They should also be careful of

the Internet Teachers that does not teach the Word of YHVH or Holiness, teachings that tickles the ears, listening to things that you want to hearinstead of things YHVH wants you to hear so that your garment can becleaned and stay clean. This is a warning and you have a responsibility tostay away from “fat -bread” teachings for your own benefit.

Y’shua’s army is infiltrated by and enemy that is hard to see, the enemy fromwithin. Only true leaders that have a foundation of the Word of YHVH will beable to lead the people into battle against the flesh.

The Leaders and false teachers that tickle the ears will keep people focussed on

the Lamb of YHVH instead of the Word of YHVH making them fleshy and fat,not fit to serve in the Army of YHVH.

    9. Issachar

Issachar was the 9th son of Jacob Issachar means "there is areward" ("yesh sakar") or, "a man of hire" ("ish sakar").

    Gen 49:14

Positive: He is a strong ass couching down between twoburdens.

      Negative: None

    Lessons f rom Issachar :

His is a strong ass crouching down between twoburdens. The ” Ass” is a symbol for both wealthand salvation.

Wealth  – found in Gen 24:35 where YHVHblessed Abraham and he became great.

Salvation  – found in Gen 22:3 where Abrahamand Isaac saddled an ass to go up to sacrifice. The ass is a symbol of carrying the message ofMessiah - just like Messiah rode into the City,

they carry the message of Salvation into cities all over the world.

Issachar represents both the physical and spiritual side; Physical, with gatheringwealth for the Kingdom especially in the mission field and Spiritual; praying andreaching out into the nations who are lost so that they can be saved. Issachardoes mission work to fulfil the prophecy given to Abraham that his descendantswill be like the sand of the sea and that YHVH is our exceedingly Great Reward.

    10. Zebulon

Zebulon was the 10th son of Jacob Zebulon means “iniquitythat dwells”.

    Gen 49:13

Positive: He will dwell by the haven of the sea andshall be a haven for ships and his borders shall go outto Zidon.

      Negative: None

    Lessons from Zebulon:

Sea is the word “yom” that means, “to roar , west” and it can mean “nations” aswell. The word “yom” is found in the creation story where YHVH separated thedry land from the waters that formed the sea. He then made the fish to populatethe sea and later gave man dominion over the fish in the sea, man that is madein His Image and Likeness.

Haven is the Hebrew word “choph” that means seashore that comes from a rootword that means, “to cover”.

Border  is the Hebrew word “yerechah” that means “side” and is also used in

explaining the building of the Tabernacle, the covering that contained thepresence of YHVH.

  • 8/20/2019 Parashah 12- Vayechi (He Lived)

    11/13

      11

Zidon is also translated as Sidon that means “hunting” that comes from the rootword “tsud” that means “catching fish” or to “hunt”. This word “tsud” is first usedwhere Isaac asked Esau to go into the field, hunt and prepare meat so that hecan bless him before he die.

Spiritual Insight: The Sea is a symbol of the nations and Zebulon is appointed

to go into the nations. He has dominion over the nations because he is inYHVH’s Image and Likeness meaning that he is in the world but not of theworld. We have discussed previously that the creation of man into YHVH’sLikeness can only happen if you have received the Spirit of YHVH. His Anointingenables and empowers you for a particular task within His Will and Plan. Thisgave Zebulon dominion over the fish of the sea.

Haven means seashore and “to cover” and is found twice in this passage. Firstlyman needs to be covered before they can come into the presence of YHVH andit is Zebulon’s task to bring the fish out of the sea and “cover” them so that theycan exist outside the waters within the “boat” (saved). We know this covering to

be the blood of the Lamb.Secondly, YHVH needs to be “covered” so that His Holinessand Presence can be hidden as a safety precaution whileHe dwells amongst His people. We see mention of this“covering” that covers and contains the presence of YHVHin the next word, namely “border” that connects to thebuilding of the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle was the placethat was used to facilitate the Sacrificial System.

Zidon means “to hunt” or “to fish” which was the last

instruction Y’shua gave His Disciples before He wentback to His Father; they had to go out to all the nationsand preach the Gospel, the message of repentance toall people and bring them back to YHVH so that theycan enter His Kingdom. As people come into theKingdom they all become part of the Tabernacle whereYHVH indwells them by His Spirit.

We saw with Issachar the support and funding of missionary work and withZebulon we see the people who actually go out and do the work amongst thenations. Each one of us has this call to go out and “fish” people into theKingdom.

    11. Joseph

Joseph is the 11th son of Jacob Joseph means “increase andaddition”.

    Gen 49:22-26

Positive: He is a fruitful branch whose branches runover the wall. The archers grieved him, shot at him, andhated him. His bow is strong and his arms have been

made strong. People slander and attack him verbally but YHVH makeshis arms (faith) strong. He is the Shepherd and the stone of Israel. He is

    12/13

      12

blessed by YHVH with blessings from heaven, from the deep and fromunder.

      Negative: None

Lessons from Joseph: Joseph’s life is the closest propheticrepresentation of Y’shua and Y’shua is the One Who brought

Salvation and Grace and He is coming again as the Judge.Joseph depicts the Christians who have the Spirit of theShepherd that has the revelation and blessing from heaven, from above, from below and from under. They are the wildbranch that grew over the wall into all nations to gather YHVH’speople and shepherd them back to Him with the revelation ofMessiah. They have a special anointing and are blessed with allthe fruit of the Spirit.

Joseph represents the Disciples of Messiah who walk as Y’shuawalked in order to reach and disciple people into relationship with the father. It is

also about reconciliation between the 12 brothers meaning that the “children ofYHVH” need to leave their differences behind and become Ecahd or One withone another and with Messiah Y’shua, the Lamb and the Word. The Christianshave the Lamb revelation of Messiah and the Jews have the Word or Torahrevelation of Messiah.

    12. Benyamin

Benyamin born as the 12th son of Jacob. Number 12 isconsidered a perfect number, it symbolises YHVH's powerand authority as well as the completeness of a nation.

Benyamin means “son of my sorrow” and “son of my righthand”.

    Gen 49:27

Positive:  He shall raven (tear into pieces) like a wolf that devour his preyin the morning and divide the spoil at evening.

      Negative: None

    Lesson from Benyamin:

Raven is the Hebrew word “taraph” and is used in Gen 37:33 where the

brothers explained to their father that Joseph was devoured by a wild beast, torninto pieces. This word is used twice in that passage.

Wolf used in Isa11:6 where the wolf will dwell with the lamb, talking about howYHVH will set His hand a second time to gather the remnant of His people.

Prey is the word “ad” that is found in Zep 3:8 where it talks about YHVH that willrise up to the prey, gather the nations and pour out His fierce anger upon thekingdoms of the earth, devouring them with the fire of His jealousy.

Devour  is the word “akal” that is first used in Scripture in Gen 2:16 & 17explaining the first commandment regarding the trees, those to eat from and theone not to eat from. “Akal” is used twice in each of these verses and this iswhere sin originated in the Garden.

    Prophetic Insight :

We can see from these words andpassages, puzzle pieces coming togethersetting the stage for the end time eventswhere it mentions the original sin that has

to do with devouring and the final judgement that has to do with devouring with fire. We see the beginning of sin inthe Garden where man devoured theforbidden fruit and we see the end of sinbeing devoured by YHVH’s fire.

Benyamin means “Son of My sorrow andSon of my right hand”; the hand that has come the first time to bring grace (righthand) and the hand that will come a second time that will bring judgement(sorrow). Benyamin represents the Messianic believers in Messiah and Torah

that will play an instrumental part in the current time and times to come.We see the gathering of the remnant of YHVH’s people as well as thegathering of the nations and kingdoms so that they can be devoured. Thenumber 2 is seen throughout all passages and confirms that this is a time of therestoration of relationships between Joseph and his brothers (believers ofdifferent backgrounds and denominations including the Jews) as well as therestoration of the relationship between YHVH and man.

As with creation there was morning and evening indicating a new day so will itbe morning and evening, the last day; devouring His prey in the morning, dividing the spoils in the evening, marking the 7th day or 1000 year Sabbath

Rest where we will be “elevated” to the Father and live with Him forever.
