    Our Retail Operations Management Trainee Program offers excellent opportunities for you to develop your professionalism in different aspects. Our ROMTs would like to take this opportunity to share with you their unique journeys with Louis Vuitton.

    Tiffany Cheung, ROMT 2009 University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Economics My 2-week overseas relief crew experience at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Maison in Singapore has inspiring, which enhanced my retail insights in people management, client development, and operations efficiency. Facing a group of new vibrant colleagues, the

    energetic Singapore team often maintained a positive attitude and motivating atmosphere in developing the Vuitton spirit. All the management team asked from the staff was to be happy every day and share their happiness with the customers. Our roles, as supporting team, were to fine-tune their “share of passion” in terms of appropriate etiquette. Soon, we were able to see the staff developing the Louis Vuitton Signature customer service naturally. Being with the Travel team, I shared with the team how to impress our customers with the Vuitton spirit of travel by introducing the great trunk wall and the new Men’s Ready-to-Wear travel collection located in the Travel Room. These two topics can easily lead the staff to talk about the history of Vuitton and to get to know the customer’s relationship with Vuitton. As a result, the team has no difficulty to familiarize with customers and to groom returning customers. Besides sharing our experiences with the MBS colleagues, I was also able to bring back some new back-of-house (BOH) organization concepts to my store – Pacific Place and to utilize those concepts during the opening of the Men’s Universe in January 2012. This overseas store attachment was an unforgettable experience, and it was also a golden opportunity for me to further understand the culture of Louis Vuitton.

  • Winnie Lo, ROMT 2010 The University of Hong Kong, majoring in Translation The Rising Star Program I took part of in 2012 served as a key to the door of the glittery world of Watches and Fine Jewelry. The Program aimed at nurturing group of watches and fine jewelry specialists with strong technical knowledge as well as sophisticated selling etiquette. It

    is a very comprehensive training program staged by different levels such as classroom training, store attachment, overseas exposure and the GIA diamond certificate course training. Thanks to the Program, my journey with Louis Vuitton is more of a WOW. Louis Vuitton is an international company reputable in people development.     Gary Tam, ROMT 2010 The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, majoring in Finance and Economics In February 2012, I took part in the first-time worldwide Sunglasses Expert Training conducted in Italy and France with colleagues from all over the world. Over the course of the training, I had the pleasure to speak to the Designer directly to understand his “muse”; I toured also the

    technical office where sunglasses were designed and developed, and the workshop where the entire manufacturing process located. The experience was amazing – the Louis Vuitton savoir-faire and the attention to details are simply impeccable. I am now the Sunglasses Expert of the Hong Kong team. I am glad that I can share my knowledge with others, and I now supervise the sunglasses business of my store.

    Man Wu, ROMT 2010 Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in China Studies – Economics My passion for retail has brought me to the journey with Louis Vuitton as a Retail Operations Management Trainee (ROMT). The Program gives me numerous exposures to explore and learn in different areas including operations, services, training and clienteling. In 2012, I was

    given the opportunity to support the Taipei 101 Maison re-opening. My two-week overseas experience gave me some memorable moments in my journey. I was inspired by the supportive and motivating working atmosphere in 101 Maison. Colleagues were encouraged to share and discuss ideas to ensure excellent customer services and enhance operations efficiency. I had a very fruitful sharing session with the Taiwan ROMTs on management, interpersonal skills and career development. This overseas store attachment provided me a valuable cross- cultural exposure, and it was a great opportunity for me to further enhance my professionalism in Louis Vuitton. The journey with Louis Vuitton truly gives me the thing that I hope to achieve in life.

  • Creamie Kwan, ROMT 2012 The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in Sociology As a fresh graduate, there is surely nothing more I need to ask for as a Retail Operations Management Trainee (ROMT) of Louis Vuitton. Right from the start, I was brought to the forefront of daily retail operations, sales and services, and clienteling. My first project came

    when I was asked to be involved in the re-organisation of the staff lounge of my store. I was challenged by the many things that I had to take care and the many different parties (both internal and external) to liaise with - I had to strike balances among objectives, budgets and time. The touching moments came when appreciations from colleagues were well received, rendering my effort worthwhile.
