Dewazakura is one of the most innovative sake- makers in Japan, using new yeast strains and brewing techniques to craft distinctly original sakes. Often called “wine -drinkers’ sakes,” they do indeed possess fruity flavour notes reminiscent of certain white wines.

Graceful and charming, extending a demure welcome to the world of sake enjoyment. Regional rice strains, like “Kura no Hana,” lend themselves especially well to the brewery’ s delicately nuanced brewing style.

Koshi no Kanbai is Japan’s most famous and sought-after sake. Its “winter plum” label is familiar to enthusiasts everywhere, conjuring up the image of a sake so perfect that every single molecule seems immaculately in place.

Rich, expressive flavour, genteel clarity and balance—these are the characteristics of sakes from Sohomare, established by the Kono family in 1872. Unusually, Sohomare uses “Designation A” Yamadanishiki rice.
