The annual Investors in People employee sentiment poll reveals major trends across the UK workforce. By tracking the likelihood that people are looking to move jobs, the reasons for doing so, and the most attractive benefits that employers offer, this report helps organisations retain and recruit the best.

Because good people make a great business.

Trends

Attrition 1 in 5 employees are actively seeking

a job and looking to move in 2016

Confidence 1 in 4 employees feel the job market

has improved over the last 12 months

Unhappy 1 in 3 people are unhappy

in their current job

As the economy improves, and pay levels rise, employers are at risk of losing valuable skilled people who feel the grass is greener elsewhere. Our poll reveals that staff continue to feel unvalued in their work and poorly managed, leading to unhappy, unsatisfied workers. UK businesses could be looking at a Job Exodus Timebomb in 2016.
