(v) The Institute will not ohtain grant for the same purpose or activity from any other Minisl

Department of Government of India or State Government.

(vi) The Institute will not divert grants-in-aid and entrust the execution of the project for which ,the graraid is sanctioned to another Institute or institution. No funds out of this grant should be utilized for an)

scheme for which prior approval of Government has not been obtained.

(vii) The Institute will agree to make reservations for SCs/STs/OBCs and the Disabled in the posts or seIunder its control for the implementation of project(s) sanctioned to it, on the lines indicated by the Governof India.

(viii) The Institute will furnish to this Ministry annual progress report (Performance-cum-achievement re

on the project indicating both physical and financial achievement related to the approved project.

(ix) The Institute will maintain subsidiary accounts of the Government grant and furnish the audited stateof accounts with utilization certificate to the Government as mentioned in para (i) above.

(x) The accounts of the Institute shall be open to inspection by the sanctioning authority and audit, bot

the Comptroller and Auditor General of India and Internal Audit Wing of Office of Chief Controll(Accounts of this Ministry, whenever the Institute is called upon to do so.

(xi) The assets acquired wholly or substantially out of Government grant should not be disposed of wit

prior sanction of the President, encumbered or used for purpose other than those for which grant has 1:mndinm:d, Tlw Institute is required to maintain n Register of such assets and send an annual statement ir

prescri bed proforma to this Ministry at the end of the financial year.

(xii) If the (Jovcrnrncnt is not satisfied with the progress of the project or considers that the condition

sanctinn are being violated, it reserve the right to terminate the grants~in-aid or to blacklisl the Institute f

future grant or any other financial assistance from the Government.
