Twistork™ Agitators Twistork agitators are the only 2 inch bung-mounted helix mixers available today. They reduce volatile fluid evaporation while maintaining purity of sealed drum contents. Stainless steel models are waterbase compatible.Siphon models provide convenient drum evacuation tube. Large spiral-shaped blade mixes paints, resins, urethanes, and epoxies efficiently.Particularly effective for mixing higher viscosity fluids.

LSA Series Agitators

LSA-200, LSA-220 and LSA-300Low Shear Agitator Design for PaintThe LSA Series is designed to meet the challenges posed by today’s paints and coatings.Hydraulic, pneumatic or electric-powered models are available. A variety of shaft lengthsand impeller diameters are offered.

The LSA Series offers:• Efficient energy consumption• Long life with minimal maintenance• Low shear means less paint degradation• Better mixing offers more particle dispersion• Waterborne paint compatibility• Maintenance-free gear box• Shaft seal requires no lubrication and eliminates fugitive solvent emissions

Low Shear, Low Energy ConsumptionLaboratory tests prove the LSA Series produces 35% less maximum shear rate than a conventional pitched blade turbine at equal impeller flow rates. By decreasing the shear,the LSA Series lowers energy consumption and reduces paint degradation.

The energy-efficient, 1/4 HP motor provides excellent mixing. Competitive units require1/2 to 5 HP motors to compensate for high shear and high drive losses.

Improved Mixing, Increased Fluid FlowThe unique design of Graco’s low shear impeller develops 80% more total fluid flow thana conventional pitched blade. The increased fluid flow provides better mixing and moreparticle dispersion throughout the mix tank and paint circulation system for improvedpaint quality.

No Lubrication, No MaintenanceThe LSA Series has a maintenance-free, sealed gear box and a lubrication-free shaft sealto prevent solvent attack on the agitator bearings and gear box. No silicone is used; theagitator is compatible with all paints and coatings.
