Parallel shaft gear unit/geared motor

Agitator drives Output/Input options

When mounting parallel shaftgeared motors we use an IECadapter with coupling. Basedon the UNIBLOCK designprinciple, the gear housingsare machined on all sides andcan therefore be used in allinstallation positions. In stan-dard the housings are madeof cast iron EN-GJL-250. Theycan be fitted in the intendedsystem both as shaft mountedmodels with hollow shafts andas parallel shaft models withoutput shafts. Precisionmanufactured gears with heli-cal involute profile ensurehigh efficiency and low-noiserunning.

High overhung and/or thrustload capacities combined withmaximum seal reliability andlong bearing life time are themain features of this productrange. Given the ruggeddesign of the agitator bearing,a separate bearing for the agi-tator shaft is not required inmost cases.

The high-torque drives aretherefore suitable for suchapplications as surface aera-tors, agitators, mixers, etc.

Output options:All the shaft designs used inmechanical engineering appli-cations are available. We canalso produce output shafts inspecial dimensions to meetcustomer specifications.

When mounting helical bevelgeared motors we use an IECadapter with coupling. Theinput stage of these drives isthe bevel gear stage, whichenables the input shaft to beturned. Other installation posi-tions are therefore also possi-ble, which is a great advanta-ge when space is limited. Inaddition, the cases aremachined on all sides like theparallel shaft gear unit andhave in the same size thesame connecting dimensions.This results in many differentmounting options.

Output options:All the shaft designs used inmechanical engineering appli-cations are available. We canalso produce output shafts inspecial dimensions to meetcustomer specifications.
