RIHANNALOUD

Here in this album, the colours match perfectly to the album name, the colours red are ‘loud’ in a way, that they stand out so much and are so vibrant. I also like how she has covered 3 sides of the digipak with the same amount of art.

However, the digipak looks very dull with just the images and I thought it would be better if they had at least something inside the cover. Maybe a thanks to the buyer of the digipak or even any links for people to follow them. It is considered though that Rhianna is very popular so she wouldn’t need to advertise her links inside her album cover.

I also like the disc very much, as it stands out from the inside background of the red roses and the disc is a white rose.

CLIFF PERRY AND LAUREL BLISSSPIRIT OF LOVE

The images and the colours have a clear link to the name of the album. Swallows and Roses are signified to relate to love and beauty. Orange which is the main colour used within the digipak is indeed a warm colour.

They have put a lot of detail into the artwork on the album cover which makes it so pleasing to the eye.

Not just this but they have also tried to fit in as much as possibly can on the CD disk, using up blank space as much as possible, putting the songs included on the disk in order.

I like this a lot more than Rhianna’s as its quite blank and has images linking to the title of the album.

RED WINGTHE STEEL WHEELS

Redwing have got themselves as a group on the front of their album looking happy. This will allow the customer to easily identify from a distance who's album it is as the title of the band is also very clear, spaced out.

On the left is what it appears to be lyrics, allowing the consumer to follow and join in with the band which I think is a great feature to use. Their disk looks perfect and pleasing, with a picture of a bird with a red outline, linking to their band name ‘Redwing’.

The only thing I don’t like is that they have made a completely blank space in where the disk would be placed. They could have perhaps done something with the space there.
