Editing my front cover image

First, I imported my image into photoshop

Then I went into image, then adjustments then curves and made the image darker

Then I made a mask and made the girl in the picture the original colour and left the background darker.

Then I added the name of my magazine in the colour red and overlapped it over her head

Then I created another mask and removed the text from on her face to behind so she was the main focus of the picture
