WHEREAS a trade dispute has arisen and now exists between the National Union of Textile, Garment andTailoring Workers and Kaduna Textiles Limited.

AND Wueneas the endeavour topromote a settlementby conciliation has proved unsuccessful.

Now tuererore, I, SoLomon Omojoxoun, FeperaL Minister or EMPLOYMENT, LABOUR AND.Propuctiviry, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 7 (2) of the Trade Disputes Act No. 7of 1976, hereby refer the matter in dispute to the Industrial Arbitration Panel with the following termsof reference :—

To inquire into the trade. dispute between the National Union of Textile Garmentand TailoringWorkers and Management of Kaduna Textiles Limited over the following points :—--@) Lockout of 3,600 workers since 19th January, 1984 who are membersofthe above union ;(i) Refusal to restore full basic wages and allowances ; :(i) Refusal. to pay redundancy and gratuity benefits as
