FEES?

Page 13: Discover Nursing @ UTS June 2015

WHAT DO WE KNOW?Will students still be able to defer their fees?

• Yes. Students will still be able to defer payment of their fees through HELP if they meet the HELP eligibility requirements. Repayment HELP starts when income reaches the minimum repayment threshold - estimated to be $50,638 in 2016-17.

Will universities increase the cost of tuition fees?

• The Government plans to reduce the funding Universities receive. In order to maintain the quality of courses this will unfortunately make it necessary for universities to make up this shortfall by increasing tuition fees.

When will we know more?

• After December 31, 2015, future students will be charged under the new arrangements determined by UTS.

• For more information visit www.fees.uts.edu.au.
