Course: “Jolly Phonics and Grammar Training 1 & 2” Just if icat ion

When the Jolly Phonics method was introduced in the UK it caused a revolutionin the teaching of English. This method spread to foreign language schools aroundthe world and proved to be just as successful with pupils of English as a secondlanguage. Learning English obviously goes far beyond the memorization ofstructures and vocabulary. A good pronunciation - which goes hand in hand withreading and writing skills - is particularly difficult to acquire in English. Yet with astructured and fun presentation of all the sound combinations that exist for eachletter it has been demonstrated that pupils can - and do - learn to speak, read, andwrite correctly.

Jolly Phonics is ideally introduced in infant school. Jolly Grammar, a systematicpresentation of grammar, spelling and punctuation based on colours, is the follow-up offered for older pupils. This structured learning of grammar reinforces SpanishLanguage teaching too!
