Monitor Your Child/Ward’s vision To assist you in monitoring your child/ward’s vision, Health Promotion Board (HPB) in partnership with the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) has created an eye screening chart that can be used at home for children 8 years and above in Annex A. The chart provides an estimation of your child’s clarity of vision (visual acuity) and can help indicate if your child needs to see an optometrist. A link to search for an optometrist near your home is available in Annex A. You can use this chart to test your child’s vision every 6 months. 4.
