2.1 Grade A Canteen certification We would like to share the good news that all 6 stalls in the school canteen have been issued a Grade A certificate after 2 surprise visits by the National Environment Agency. All our stalls have been awarded a Grade A certificate since 2009. 2.2 Results of National Photography Festival (Primary School) 2017 4 students from Media Studio CCA represented Changkat Primary School for National Photography Festival (Primary School) 2017 on 25 Mar 2017. Please find attached the Schedule of Assessment (Term 3) for P1, 2 and 6 levels. Parents and Guardians are requested to complete the acknowledgement form and return it to the form teachers by next Wednesday, 26 Jul 2017.

4. 2017 P6 Prelim Oral Communication Examination Schedule

Please find in the table below the P6 Prelim Oral Communication Examination schedule. Both EL and MTL Oral Examinations will be conducted in the afternoon after curricular hours. All P1-6 students will be dismissed at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday (27/7/17) and Friday (28/7/17).

Students will be notified as to which subject they will be tested on the respective days. Example: Student A (Primary 6) has MTL E-Oral Examination on Thursday, 27 July 2017. Hence, he or she will have EL Oral Examination on Friday, 28 July 2017.

Note: P6 students who are taking NTIL as their MTL will have their EL Oral

Examination on Friday, 28 July 2017.

5. Racial Harmony Day

The school will be commemorating Racial Harmony Day with a special assembly programme on Friday, 21 Jul 2017. The theme for this year is “The Singapore Way”. The theme reminds us of the importance to embrace diversity and to take pride in one another’s heritage in order to strengthen our collective identify.

Cultural heritage booths featuring traditional food and games will be set up in the canteen area and foyer during the lower and upper primary recesses on Thursday, 20 July and Friday, 21 Jul 2017. Through participating in these activities, we hope that students will learn to appreciate the different cultures that make up Singapore.
