While Varney Air Lines went on to become United, its</p><p>founder Water T. Varney later established Varney Speed Lines, which transformed</p><p>into Continental.</p><p>This shared history of aviation leadership still connects United and Continental co-</p><p>workers today as we work together to build the new United.
