End of Course Testing: April 22 - May 2 AP Testing: May 6 - 17 Final Exams: Seniors - May 16 - May 22, all other students - May 20 - 23 Final Exam Exemption Request Window is Open The window to request final exam exemptions is open from Thursday, April 25th until Friday, May 3rd at 4pm. The following must be completed in order for requests to be considered by administration. * Students must fill out the appropriate grade level Google Form online for each class they want to exempt; the form can be accessed at www.cambridgehs.org * The Parent/Guardian Approval Form must completed through ZippSlip OR printed, filled out, and turned in to the Front Office BOTH ABOVE ACTIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 4:00PM ON FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2019; NO EXCEPTIONS Sadie Hawkins Dance - April 27 The Senior Class will be hosting a Sadie Hawkins dance on April 27th from 8-11pm in the CHS Courtyard. Girls ask the boys! Dress is casual/nice. Tickets can be purchased during all lunches. Prices are $10 for Seniors and $20 for everyone else. Senior Picnic Seniors—Please pick up your Senior Picnic Meal Tickets during your lunch periods on Tuesday, April 30 th and Wednesday, May 1 st . Art News It's that time of year again- The AP studio art students have been working hard to develop their portfolios this year, and they would love to share their work with you. An official Final Transcript is required by the college a student plans to attend to verify graduation from high school. Final Transcripts will be processed after the final grades are posted (tentative release date May 30, 2019). The transcript needs to be requested through or the same online program that was used to send the initial transcript to the college for admissions (for example, Common Application, or the Coalition Application). If the final transcript is being sent to an organization (Sorority, Fraternity, Scholarship, etc.) or, a person, must be used. Ideal candidates are potential young leaders who want to serve their communities and act as advocates on behalf of other youth. Applications for the 2019-2020 Youth Commission are now available until Friday, May 17, 2019. Applications are also accepted online: Youth Commission Application Purposity In Fulton County we are always looking to join forces with other partners and organizations who will help us make a bigger impact in the lives of the community we serve. With this vision in mind, we are excited to introduce our newest partner, Purposity, an Atlanta-based organization that will connect Fulton students in need with people in the community that can help. This is done through a mobile app designed to make it easy for neighbors to help neighbors. By signing up, generous donors are sent a weekly notification with a specific need for a specific student. It might be a winter jacket for a middle schooler or household essentials for a high school family that lost its home in a fire. Users decide if they want to help and in just a few clicks on their phone, the need is met. They know exactly who they are helping and why. It's the simplest way to make an impact locally.
