INTRODUCTION:-

I have selected a farming industry. Under which I have selected the cattle feeds company. The name of the companies are KAPILA KRISHI UDYOG LIMITED and AMRIT FEEDS LIMITED. About these company I will explain about the various corporate level strategies which they apply.

COMPANY PROFILE:-

KAPILA KRISHI UDYOG LIMITED

The company is a manufacturing company.it was stablished in the year 1992.The various products which are manufactured by the company are cattle feed,pallet,pashu aahar,feeds,standard cattle feed, Super cattle feed etc.

AMRIT FEEDS LIMITED

COMPANY PROFILE:-

Amrit Group has been on a continuous growth curve since its inception in 1994, moving from strength to strength with product innovation, forays into new market segments and a strong commitment to inclusive growth above everything else.

THE VARIOUS CORPORATE LEVEL STRATEGIES ARE:-

STABILITY :- It is applicable at incremental improvement of functional performance.

WHEN TO APPLY:-

1. When government policies are not right2. When company is not so attractive.

RETRECHMENT :- It is followed when an organization stability reduces the scope of its activities.

RESTRUCTURING :-

It is applicable when change in the composition of an organization set business in order to create a more profitable enterprise.

COMBINATION STRATEGIES :-

It is the combination strategies of mixture of stability, retrenchment strategies applied either simultaneously or sequentially.STRATEGIES APPLIED BY KAPILA KRISHI UDYOG LIMITED

CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING:-

As the company is attractive and also the government policies are also correct so stability strategies cant be applied. So in order to gain more profit to the enterprise corporate restricting level strategies is used. Also the company has good market image in market so they dont have to focus and invest in advertisement and promotion.

STRATEGIES APPLIED BY AMRIT FEEDS LIMITED As the company has various competitors in the market related to its substitute product. So to compete with their competitors the company is applying COMBINATION STRATEGIES. So they are applying the strategies simultaneously by changing current pattern into the positive situation. On the other hand they are also trying the strategies of liquidation of business. The company has also a strong network with the social networking sites. They are actively tie up with just dial. COMPARISION KAPILA KRISHI UDYOG LIMITED has a good brand in the market as it is older company in the market. Also the turnover of the company is very high so they can invest in other policies in order to boost up their profits.

Whereas, AMRIT FEEDS LIMITED is less known in the market so they have to invest more in advertisement and promotion. As the company has less turnover so they cant invest in other things easily.

But AMRIT FEEDS LIMITED has a plus point that it is actively participating in social networking site whereas KAPILA KRISHI UDYOG LIMITED lack in this thing. CONCLUSION:- With the help of the assignment I came to know the strength and weaknesses of both the company .And suggest the company that what is its brand value in the market .And they have to do in order to make more profit for the company.
