DAY 1 MONDAY, OCTOBER 12 LOUISVILLE, KY (Dinner) We’ll depart this morning on our journey east with stops for comfort and lunch on our own along the way. We’ll travel as far as

Louisville, KY, before checking into our overnight accommodations and enjoying a wonderful welcome dinner as a group.

DAY 2 TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13 ASHEVILLE, NC (Breakfast, Dinner)

Following breakfast, there’s no better way to discover and explore Asheville than by a hop-on/hop-off trolley tour. Enjoy the tour

and ten featured stops at your own pace. Choose to stay aboard the trolley for the fully narrated journey highlighting the city’s

architecture, history, and the arts. Or hop-off at any (or all!) of the stops to experience the city’s eclectic shops, galleries, and craft

brew scenes. Your trolley ticket is good all day, so feel free to hop-on and hop-off as many times as you wish! The River Arts District is

a must for those interested in paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculptures, photography, glassblowing, and more. Car fanatics will love the

Estes-Winn Antique Car Museum, and literature enthusiasts will be fascinated by the Thomas Wolfe State Historic Site. Along the way,

enjoy lunch at one of the city’s restaurants featuring world-class cuisine. The group will gather together this evening to share stories

of our day over a delicious dinner.

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14 ASHEVILLE, NC (Breakfast, Dinner)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we make our way to . More than a century ago, George Vanderbilt Biltmore Estate & Gardens

created an 8,000-acre country retreat in North Carolina’s mountains. Its centerpiece is the Biltmore House, which offered 250 rooms

of hospitality to family and friends. Today, Biltmore Estate continues to offer a gracious escape from everyday life. We’ll marvel at the

grandeur of America’s largest home, filled with Vanderbilt’s collection of fine arts and antiques, and learn about the Vanderbilt

family and their many guests. Lunch is on our own at Biltmore’s Antler Hill Village, followed by a tour and tasting at the Biltmore

Winery Blue Ridge Mountain Opry. We’re in for a toe-tapping evening as we head to the for dinner and a bluegrass music show!

Our day begins with breakfast before once again boarding the motorcoach for a day of leisurely driving. Relax as we travel across

Today marks the beginning of our journey home. We’ll travel as far as Indianapolis, IN, where we will enjoy dinner and a show at Beef

& Boards Dinner Theatre.

We’ll board the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad after breakfast this morning and enjoy the scenic ride into river gorges, across

valleys, and through tunnels carved out of majestic mountains in a beautiful corner of North Carolina. Lunch will be served on the

rails before we disembark and make our way to the Wheels Through Time Museum to explore the collection of rare American

motorcycles, memorabilia, and unique “one-off” American automobiles such as the 1949 Veritas. The collection of motorcycles

alone includes over 350 rare machines from companies such as Harley-Davidson, Indian, Excelsior, Flying Merkel, and more. After a

journey through the evolution of American motorcycling and automotive history, we’ll continue on to our hotel in Sevierville, TN, to

refresh and have dinner on our own.

After breakfast, we will depart on the rest of our journey home with stops for comfort and lunch on our own along the way.

DAY 5 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16 ASHEVILLE, NC (Breakfast, Dinner) Our day of sightseeing will begin with the and . The Parkway is a ribbon of Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center Folk Art Center

road that weaves through the spectacular scenery of North Carolina and Virginia. Through the Visitor Center’s exhibits and award-

winning film, we’ll learn about the flora and fauna, cultural heritage, and economic traditions found along the Parkway and

throughout Western North Carolina. We will then make our way to the Folk Art Center, which focuses on the traditional and

contemporary crafts of the Southern Appalachians. The center houses three galleries, a library, and the Southern Highland Craft

Guild’s oldest craft shop. Both centers are fascinating and will open our eyes to all the area has to offer. This afternoon will take us to

Chimney Rock State Park to ride the elevator to the top local winery for a and soak in the amazing views before we head to a

tour and tasting. Our day will then come to an end with dinner.
