AP EnglishThe expectation is that students read texts individually andcompletely without the help of online summaries and aides. Thevast majority of reading will be done outside of class, and wewill be starting a new work, on average, every other week.

As a group, we will thoroughly discuss and dissect key elementsof the texts during class time.

Much of the writing will consist of timed, in-class assignmentsbased on the reading and discussion. These essays will be similarto those on the AP exam and will be graded according to the APEnglish scoring guide.
